Baked egg pudding @ Panash

I was expecting this baked egg pudding to be sweet just like the other defacto egg puddings in Hong Kong.
When I opened it, there was a layer of caramel on top which has gone lumpy after baking, the taste of that layer was not that strong.
The second egg pudding layer was delicious and smooth, the egg taste was extremely strong but not cloyingly sweet. Its texture and taste is similar to the egg tart filling found in western custard tarts.
Then at the bottom there was runny caramel sauce which had the usual bitterness but not too sweet.
