Swapping a soft drink for Corona cero at The Nature Exchange

I love trying new drinks so I was all for trying the zero alcohol Corona, the catch is that you have to trade in a soft drink.
Corona has it all sorted with a free vending machine so I swapped a soda for the Corona cero.
I loved the nature spot and environment where you can enjoy the drink.
Overall, I found it tasted just like beer without the alcoholic kick and you still get that bitter kick.

[Drink Puppet] Late night drinks and desserts in Central

Girls will always have a sweet tooth and room for dessert after dinner. At Drink Puppet, it is clearly successful as they have desserts as well drinks. Central simply lacks a dessert shop and DRINK PUPPET has filled the gap serving Chinese and Western desserts.

The joint is pink and girly so definitely the place to hang out before or after the a meal and they open till 1:30am.

There were so many drinks and desserts to choose from so tried the signature items since they highly recommended it. Started off with the Pink Sakura Latte which was dreamy with a subtle Sakura flavour without being too sweet.

Next was the Rose Lychee Waffle tart cup. Rose and Lychee always pair together well with its fragrant sweet scent and it is nice how it was presented in this crispy waffle tart cup topped with pieces of lychee.

The Sakura with cherries souffle pancake is another recommended item because the souffle pancake is soft and fluffy topped with Sakura cream and quality cherries.

Moving on to the Chinese dessert was the red beans soup with aged fruit peel and milk foam. There are two to choose from 10 years and 100 years, the older the better. I was really impressed with the 10 year one as it was strong and just as good as the aged one I tried a while ago. The best thing is the milk foam on top which makes the beans light and fluffy when you mix it together. Definitely the best red bean dessert I have ever had as the thick milk foam and aged fruit peel made it heavenly. As well as red beans, they also have pomelo mango and almond soup.

Can't wait to come back soon!

Healthy Beverages at [Tea Days 小茶堂]

I was actually in for a surprise when I went here.]

They had slow pressed juices and you could order drinks that were 100% sugar free.

I was actually doubting if they would be sugar free as usually taro and purple sweet potato are made with powders but ordered anyway.

There was a choice of purple potato or taro.

Purple potato is trending now but I had the taro because it is not as sweet compared to purple potato and less shops serve taro these days so you have to go to proper Taiwanese joints.

To my surprise, both were the real deal.

The cold pressed OJ was sweet and thick in the sense you could taste all parts of the orange from the pulp to the orange membrane.

Then the taro was exactly what I wanted, it didn't have any colouring and there were real pieces of taro so it was very satisfying as well as healthy.

Will definitely be back for the Sweet purple potato milk when I am in the area.

Hello Summer at [The Artisan Room]

I was meeting friends at The Cobo House which is right next door.
Since I was early, I went inside [The Artisan Room] to have a look.
It was a chic and modern place for drinks and cakes.
The cakes in display cabinet were so pretty.

On the side they have high quality teas which you can smell.
You can also buy the Designtific Scientific Coffee kit which has ground coffee in vials, drip-bags, and sugar in micro tubes. Ground coffee is sealed in each injection bottle for freshness and each bottle contains just the right amount for a cup of coffee.

It was hot so I had the Longan Sparkling drink from the Hello Summer Series.

The Longan Sparkling drink was so good as it wasn't too sweet and not everyday do you come across sparkling drinks that are longan based.

Definitely coming back for cakes and tea.

[Flamingo Bloom] Zero Caffeine series and light bites

Flamingo Bloom are launching drinks faster than I can keep up!

This time they have launched the #NAKEDZERO series which are #ZEROSUGAR #ZERO CAFFEINE and #ZEROPRESERVATIVES whilst being dairy and lactose free because it contains Almond milk.

These drinks really appealed to me because of the almond milk.

There are three flavours: P!NK, GOLD and V!OLET.

The NAKED ZERO series are blended with Mongolian grapes and made to order. You can see how much grapes there are blended.

As always, their drinks impress.
I wasn't sure how it was going to taste but it tasted like yoghurt because of the grapes and because it was freshly made it is well blended and no vitamins are lost.

As well as the #NAKEDZERO series, there is a hot series for winter.
Decisions arre tough because they have this new apple and cinnamon and the caramel cinnamon hot milk a well as smashed pears!

The smashed apple and cinnamon which is the best in my opinion because it tastes like my favourite apple pie with hints of jasmine.
Next time I will request for some Salted milk cap so I can imagine drinking apple pie with cream!

For light bites, they have four new toast items!!
They had hot dog briefly which I wasn't quick enough to try but to be honest toasts are healthier and better.

There are four different toasts but avocado is my favourite so I had that.

The whole thing just tasted in harmony because you could taste the lovely salted butter on the toast whilst having bites of soft creamy avocado and juicy cherries tomatoes enhanced by the black pepper.
The avocado pieces were just right which was really good because at other places I have been served crisp, hard avocado which is not ripe to eat.

[CheckCheckCin] Healthy and stylish drinks

In Hong Kong I rarely get too many choices for drinks that I can't decide but here I found it hard to pick a drink because there were four I wanted to try which is a good sign.

They specialize in Traditional Chinese herbal medicine where they have turned them into healthy and delicious drinks with a young twist from the packaging to the store outlook with cute pastel colours.

They even had yoghurt drinks made with real yoghurt, not the weird tasting Calpis or Yakult which is laced with sugar.

Anyway, I decided to go for the Nourishing Raspberry almond milk which was a surprisingly wonderful combination.

I had it hot (served warm), any hotter than and that I don't think it would taste nice.
To my amazement it had real raspberries in it, not sure if they were fresh or frozen but at least they were not the dehydrated ones.
There should be more raspberries in the picture but it tasted so good I drank half of it before I took pictures.

Not to mention the benefits for health, I loved the taste because it was so natural especially the raspberry and you could taste hints of almond as well without being too milky.
Normally milk doesn't mix with sour berries but in this case almond milk does.
The beauty is that this drink tastes good hot or cold so it depends on what mood you're in.

I was back again for the banana yoghurt rice water, secret rice water, detox fig leaves tea with dried longan and warming apple cinnamon oolong tea which I purchased at different visits when I was in Sheungwan.

Blackforest hot chocolate

Tried the new blackforest hot chocolate, which has a really fragrant berry smell.
It tasted a bit like chocolate mixed with blueberry and ribena but it is quite sweet which will satisfy your sweet cravings on a cold day.
The eggettes are tempting once you see them making it so perhaps I will try the chocolate orange or the Russian Borscht next time if I am in the area.

Grapefruit green tea from cha FOR TEA

I was attracted by the poster of ruby red grapefruit green tea so I got it.

★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Grapefruit green tea:

I chose the 30% level of sweetness so it was not too sweet and I could still taste the tartness of the grapefruit.
It was really good because there were bits of grapefruit in the drink and the balance of green tea and juice was equal.
