Passionfruit snow flake ice @ 四哥台式雪花冰專門店

When I hear the name four brother, I immediately associate the chinese actor Tse Yin, anyway it probably has a different meaning to them.

I thought I might as well try this place even though I have tried most the places for snowflake ice.

The décor is quite colourful, colourful take out bags, straws and calpis bottles.

As the place was quite vibrant, I decided to order the passionfruit flavoured snowflake ice, with Aiyu jelly and caramel sauce. The Aiya jelly was much firmer than the ones at Sweet pak fu.
The passionfruit base did not have any artificial taste to it either.

They have also put up pictures of Marsha Yuen at the place too, the last time I saw her, she had dessert at berrygood in central.

green tea with passionfruit, and Luscious Lychee @ Jungle juice

Despite the bad reviews, I didn’t feel the drinks were that bad at all, all the drinks came with a frothy top.

On a sunny day, the window side of the café can be a scorcher, so sat on the other end.

Ordered green tea with passionfruit, and Luscious Lychee a mix of lychee, cranberry and grapefruit.

The green tea, was room temperature as the waitor stated, not ice-cold, but just normal cold, and it was not syrupy sweet which was good, with a light taste of passionfruit, the tea’s here are not like the ones from the Taiwanese shops, they are much lighter and delicate.

As for the lychee, I was expecting the lychee to be fragrant with a syrupy taste, but it was not.
On the first sip, it was rather sour, then I could tastes the tones of grapefruit, then the cranberry, and then a faint taste of lychee. I though more lychee should have been added because it is called Luscious lychee, hence you would think it tastes mainly of lychee.

It would be good if they had other branches in Hong Kong, the juice selection is quite good, and they also have the soy selection.

Tic Tac Yummy! @ Pacific Coffee

I like the way Pacific coffee have marketed their new dessert range.

They have made it in a game of tic-tac-toe, and when you eat the specified cakes in a line or a row, you can get free coffee.

So far I have only tried the raspberry dome, bundt, banana trifle, and chocolate ganache.

Raspberry dome This was the best, raspberry mousse with passionfruit jelly inside, however I didnt like the base, a bit too hard.
Bundt: rather tiny and cheaper compared to the cakes in its range.
Tastes like a normal fairy cake but with icing, there are several icing flavours: chocolate, lemon, orange and strawberry.
Banana trifle: rather disappointing, there was no sponge or jelly, it was just fake cream with biscuit base again!
Chocolate ganache: also disappointing too, the chocolate sponge was hard.
