Going to Macau on TurboJET's Premier Grand Class

On this trip to Macau, I decided to have a luxurious trip by travelling on TurboJET's Premier Grand Class.
There are selected travelling times because the TurboJETs have to be equipped with meal stations and VIP cabins.

There is a TurboJET Premier Lounge in Hong Kong where you can relax and have access to WIFI with drinks and snacks but unfortunately on my trip to Macau I did not find this lounge.

I ended up waiting in the Premier Grand Class waiting lounge near the boarding area.
(photo taken inside the lounge hence the reversed wording!!)

The lounge has two areas, one for the Superclass ticket holders and the other lounge for the Premier Grand Class.
The Premier Grand Class has red carpets and white leather sofas and you are given a bottle of water when you arrive.
There is a water dispenser at the Superclass lounge.

Video of the Premier Grand Class waiting lounge:
At the time of filming I was disappointed because I did not know there were two lounges.

I loved the lounge because the TurboJET staff will assist you in boarding where the Premier Grand Class passengers board last, it was fun skipping the queues to the TurboJET.
Premier Grand Class passengers are seated at the front with a full view of the sea and close to the magazine rack.

Video on board the TurboJET:

There is a VIP cabin too which I would love to try next time.
They bring you the latest newspapers to read.
At the front, there are magazines.
 Video of the magazines.

For people who have to be online, they provide you with an exclusive WIFI too.
Shortly you are served your meals, on this journey I had Breakfast.
The breakfast was lovely especially the scrambled eggs and croissant.
After breakfast you are served drinks with chocolate nibbles.
Food and drinks menu:

Within a flash, you are in MACAU.
I felt so privileged being a Premier Grand Class passenger because you get to leave first.
In the monetary world Time is money and Money is Time!!

Lunches at Outback Steakhouse

Outback Steakhouse (Wan Chai)
Since they launched their new set lunches, I have always wanted to try it.

I regret not going earlier because some of the choices previously there have been taken off because HK'ers just usually order steaks, burgers and not the fancy choices.

The choices they had before that I would have tried were:
-Crispy Chicken Sandwich (Boneless chicken breast, breaded and deep-fried to a golden
brown. Served with lettuce, tomato, chipotle mayonnaise and Aussie Fries.)
-Tilapia with Pure Lump Crab Meat (tilapia fish wtih crab meat topped sliced mushrooms, finished with a drizzle of light lemon butter Chablis sauce. Served with fresh seasonal mixed veggies.
-Toowoomba Chicken (Sauteed shrimp and button mushrooms tossed in a tomato
cream sauce and served over grilled chicken. Served with seasonal veggies.)
-Bacon Camembert Cheese Burger (Topped with Camembert cheese, bacon, caramelized onions, pickles, crispy mushrooms, chive aioli and Aussie Fries.)

I've never been to Toowoomba before but the Toowoomba chicken sounded good.

Since the menu has changed, it made my decision easier because all those lovely choices were gone and the spicy shrimp rice was the only one I wanted to try, the rest were baby back ribs, burgers and stuff that you would normally order.

Soup and salad:

The soup was cold because there were so many bowls of soup on the table ready to be served when people ordered.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Bushman's bread:

The bread was lovely and warm with a strong sugary taste just like black sugar bread paired with the delicious buttery sweet cream.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Spicy prawn rice:

The rice was a bit soft and mushy but it was flavoured with lots of spices such as cayenne pepper and paprika.
On top of the rice there were lots of deep fried julienne sweet potatoes which were very crunchy but a bit dry.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Tea:

The tea was horrible because I hate Ceylon tea (basically Hong Kong style milk tea) which is bitter and it was served with coffee creamer.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
The food came very slow on this visit and some of it was quite cold too.

Chicken pot again from Supreme Restaurant

Supreme Restaurant (Causeway Bay)
I found out about this restaurant because I went to a tasting at their MK branch.
It was so nice that I went back again.

However at this branch, they don't seem to take telephone bookings when I phoned, when I got there, they asked if I booked so I said the person on the phone did not let me book.
Anyway, I did not abuse my authority as a reviewer because I could have simply called the Manager who gave me his business card to book.

Another reviewer who also went again anonymously was allowed to book but it was before a certain time.

This time they used the portable gas stoves which were much better at controlling the heat.

The amount of chicken in the pot was reasonable and it tasted as good as the tasting.

At the CWB branch, there are more snacks such as soups, salads and fried items.

The fried fish skin were delicious, they were crispy and had a strong fishy taste.

The only thing that the MK branch fared better was the seating because it was not so cramped.
There is a two hour dining time limit that starts counting when you sit down and they will present you with the bill half an hour before it ends but you can still continue eating until time is up.

Fiji custard from BreadTalk

BreadTalk (Tseung Kwan O)

A new branch of BreadTalk has opened in Hang Hau.

This branch is quite small compared to the other branches.

Anyway I got the Fiji Custard.

★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Fiji custard:

I am quite puzzled why this is called Fiji custard because there is no custard in it nor can I find anything related to Fiji.
It was basically filled with cream and tasted like an oily cronut.
I did not like the crust because it was too crunchy.

Tokyo icecream on the corner

Via Tokyo (Causeway Bay)
I tried their icecream ages ago but it seemed hard writing this up because I am not an expert on Japanese food.

One of the Japanese owners was really nice and shockingly spoke really good English because all the Japanese people I have met, I had trouble understanding what they said in English.

While I was there, they were making dumplings for the desserts.

Although there were lots to choose from, my favourite was actually the plain one with crispy rice only available to students.

I love that crispy rice which tastes like the cereal honey puffs.

★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Okome shiratama Azuki mix soft cream:

The dessert was nice and colourful but I found it a bit heavy and I don't like red beans.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Plain icecream with crispy rice:

This was my favourite, plain and simple soft serve with crispy rice.
I wish they served this on the regular menu.

Lunch at Green Orange

Green Orange (Sheung Wan)

I was in the area during lunchtime so decided to try their lunch.

★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Soup and bread:

The soup was quite creamy.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Tandoori fish, cucumber salad and roast potatoes:

The fish was really nice, heavily spiced with Indian herbs paired with shaved cucumber and quite a lot of it too.
Usually, cucumber used as a decorative item but it was nice there was quite a bit because it had a refreshing taste that balanced the spiciness of the fish.
The roast potatoes were divine because they were fluffy in the middle with a lovely roasted skin.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Chocolate brownie and icecream:

The chocolate brownie was dense and rich.

Mini hot dog from It's a Tuck Shop

It's a Tuck Shop (Wan Chai)

I havent been here for a while because the guy is not there anymore and the food quality seems to have gone down.
On my previous visit, the burger bun was dehydrated.
It was the woman this time so I only got the hotdog.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Mini hotdog:

Surprisingly, the hotdog was ok, the bun was soft.
The frankfurter, tomato ketchup and mustard tasted great together giving a tangy taste.
