Anyway I got the chiu chow style dessert with split green beans, water chestnuts and the compulsory lotus seeds, it was totally different to the one I had at this other chiu chow joint, it is totally watery here, and lots of bubble on the surface!
Luckily I ordered the cold version with ice, it helped cool down the dessert and diluting the sweetness of it, also the shop had no air con, so it got a bit hot and stuffy.
As for the other dessert, another weird mix of ice-cream, lotus seeds, and other stuff.
