Vegetarian char siu rice rolls & vegetarian sushi

Since my last visit in 2006, their attitude is still the same and as pushy as before.
If they were not next to a temple they would probably have less people deliberately coming over to have vegetarian meals unless they were vegans.

The vegan rice roll looked good so I decided to get the Vegan BBQ pork one, as soon as I picked it up, the woman tried to put donuts and other items which I was not intending to buy.
Then I looked at the vegan sushi and she tried to get me to buy other snacks as well.
Although vegan foods are meant to be good for you, it sometimes can be bad for you especially when it is made with ingredients which are hard to digest.
Some vegan foods do not break down in your mouth and they come out the other end how it went in because I have experienced that before!

Vegan BBQ Pork rice roll:
I have tried vegan BBQ pork before and this one was not as good as the ones I tried before.
The texture of the BBQ pork was like hard rubber.

Vegan sushi:
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Vegan salmon:
The texture was similar to real salmon but there was a strong carotene taste.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Vegan tuna:
This tasted 90% like raw tuna and there was even an unami taste.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Vegan squid :
This was like jelly plastic but the taste was quite nice.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Vegan eel:
As well as vegan salmon and tuna, this is another one of my favourites because it is made of soy and mushroom stalks which have a real fishy texture.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Vegan scallops:
The appearance was similar to mini vietnamese sausage slices but the texture was extremely rubbery like plastic that does not break down when you chew it and I suspect it will come out the other end like that too.
