Wendys x Krabby patty collab

Wendys x Krabby patty collab and under the sea frosty with pineapple puree.
According to the staff at wendys, the krabby sauce is a mix of mayo and ketchup.
I only got the frosty as I didn't feel like a burger and it was nice.

Fish and Chips at Melfort fish bar

Visited Melfort fish bar as I am aiming to try all the chippies.
It is near Thornton heath station hidden on a residential road.
Prices are affordable and they offer skate and haddock as well which require 20 minutes to prepare.
As I had a train to catch I just got the cod and chips for 7 pounds.
The cod was tasty and comes with skin which is good.
Chips are crispy and soft in the middle.
As I needed a box [normally wrapped] the fish was too long so had to be folded over which reminded me of some morbid news where they sawed the legs from a corpse to fit in a coffin.

Curd Rice at Crispy Dosa, Croydon

Tried the new Crispy Dosa in Croydon.
The menu is limited compared to other branches like Wood Green which I tried previously.
Since I have already tried dosa at the other branches had Curd Rice!
It is an Indian savoury rice pudding.
Creamy and delicious but it was spicy. I'm not sure if its meant to be spicy but the previous restaurant I went wasn't spicy.
Anyway, this was a new restaurant and it was so problematic.
Asked if they had curd rice before taking a seat.
Then when I ordered they already said I ordered. Food took ages to arrive when curd rice is something from the fridge that is already made.

Thai noodles at Slurpp

I have been meaning to try slurpp when I saw pictures of these dark and strong looking broth for the boat noodles.
Finally visited the SOHO Slurpp in late March and discovered that the menu is very different to the London Dock branch.
On this visit, I had the five spice noodles with beef but pork arrived, despite that wrong meat the noodles and broth looked promising.
They changed the noodles for me because it was not beef but the noodles were undercooked which you can visually see because Cambodian noodles when not fully soft are slightly opaque with defined edges but as they remain longer in the broth they absorb the broth and take up some of the colour and the edges are not so prominent after it expands.
Anyway, since that was the case, I started on the beef first so by the time I finished the beef and veg the noodles were just right, however the beef was quite chewy.

The Yen Fa To with Jade noodles was way too sweet for my liking however the I like the way you get mooli and a big chunk of snow fungus!
It was supposed to come with blood curd jelly which was not there so after I pointed it out they gave me some on a plate which I plonked them in the bowl for pictures.

Revisited Slurpp again in April, a month later to try the po sian noodles which is glass vermicelli stir fried with mushrooms.
I've not seen this dish in the many Thai restaurants I have tried nor could I find it on google but it was nice dish of vermicelli stir fried in soy sauce with bits of egg, onions, Chinese Cabbage, Pak Choi, mushrooms and tofu.

During this visit, it was late lunch and service was worse than the evening visit because there were not waitresses around when I wanted dessert.

When I finally ordered dessert, the wait was a waste of time because she had totally forgotten I ordered through her 5 minutes ago and said she thought I'd finished.
On a side note, phone signal is poor in the restaurant.
