Katsu curry has been the trend this year that you find it on the menu and even at the supermarkets. McDonalds UK will be serving Katsu Curry Chicken McNuggets from the 30th December. The chicken nuggets are coated in Japanese-style panko breadcrumbs and it will be served with a sweet curry dip. For six nuggets it will set you back at £3.59. In 2013, I tried the Tonkatsu pork with rice at McDonalds, Hong Kong as posted in the link:
I was captivated by the new spicy quarter pounder but then I ended up getting the McDonald's bacon double cheeseburger from the Saver's menu because I have not tried it before. It consists of two 100% beef patties, two rashers of Beechwood smoked bacon, two slices of cheese, onions, pickles, mustard and tomato ketchup, all in a soft bun.
Overall, I liked it especially the bacon which gave it an extra salty kick.

I was really lucky to get one that was rosy pink and not too burnt like other people have posted.
The texture and taste of the new luncheon is very similar to the beyond burger but it has more smokiness and saltiness like luncheon.
OmniPork is also available at nine UK restaurants for Veganuary 2021. They will be available at Longdan supermarkets from Feb 2021.
Definitely looking forward to see how UK will take on OmniPork and how it can be portrayed in English dishes.
The dish that I would most like to see is an Omnipork scotch egg which no one did in Hong Kong but then they were concentrating on Chinese dishes which makes sense, so go on England!

Overall a memorable branch of McDonald's. Inside, it is the typical layout and there is a kids area. Outside, the building was nice. Had a nice stay there with tea and chicken mayo sandwich which was nice and crispy.
The UK version of the chicken mayo is much nicer because the chicken patty has a crispy light breadcrumb coating and the patty is thinner.
