Fairytale cookes at Royal Plaza Hotel

As well as healthy low sugar cakes, Royal Plaza are now doing handmade cookies with a fairytale twist called Storyland cookies.

Each box of cookies comes in a dreamy designed box which will set you back from HKD48-52 as different flavours are priced differently.

There are 10 flavours: Chocolate Chip Cookies, double Chocolate Chip Cookies, Vanilla & Macadamia Nut, Oatmeal, Apricot & Raisin, Peanut butter, X.O. Sauce & Sakura Ebi, almond and egg, sesame butter, almond butter and Royal Lion Coffee cookies.

When you buy three boxes, it comes in a gift box so as a savoury person I tried the XO sauce and ebi cookies, peanut butter and Royal Lion coffee cookies.

My favourite was definitely the XO because I love spicy savoury flavours, while peanut butter is the trend everywhere these days and the signature Royal Lion is a must with a cup tea or coffee.

Currently, you can get these online with a 10% discount using the code R0010 or there is a buy 10 boxes get one free offer at the hotel.

Chewy goodness at Mrs Fields Cookies

Mrs. Fields Cookies never disappoint.
Discovered that they had some new flavours so got the super chewy ones and the coconut and macadamia cookie.

I couldn't resist the cookies so some were already finished before I took any photographs.
Obviously, the coconut and macadamia were good because the fragrant coconut and nutty macadamia tasted great together.
The mocha chocolate chewy was divine as it was not too sweet and I loved the chewy texture.

Celebrate Christmas with Kee Wah's festive box set

I used to think Kee Wah Bakery sold just mooncakes, Chinese Bakery and Preserved sausages but it was more modern than I thought.

As well as Chinese tea leaves they also have festive products for Christmas.
They have launched a Christmas Box set for $135.

There are three tins.
In the Red tin you will find Chinese style shortcakes in Pineapple and mango flavour.

For candy lovers, the white tin is filled with cranberry and almond nougats and pumpkin seed crunchies that were not too sweet.

In  the green tin, it was filled with crumbly cookies.

There plastic box is well labelled in English and Chinese which makes it a great Christmas gift for everyone.

Beautiful cookie store by Sharon Chan

Blesscuit Bakery (Tin Hau)

Discovered this place by accident because I was having dinner in the area.
Blesscuit is owned by local TVB artist Sharon Chan.

Her best friend Myolie sent her a flower basket for the opening.

To be honest, it looks like a cosmetics beauty parlour because of the red and gold.

They sell sweet and savoury cookies.
My favourite was the tomato cookie which was buttery with a strong tomato taste.

The cookies cost $148 for eight pieces.

It puzzles me why this shop is not called Blesskies because they cookies and not biscuits.

Jam Bakery back to square one!!

Thanks to MKK for getting me these cookies from Jam Bakery.

Jam Bakery started off in Tai Hang, moved nearby to Fortress Hill and now they are back at Tai Hang again!

After having dinner with MKK we walked past it in Tai Hang which is a few streets from where it used to be.

Buttery butter cookies:

These cookies were crumbly and buttery!

My favourite flavour was the chocolate almond and coffee which were great with tea.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Crispy sooo
These are cookie balls and there are so many flavours with a choice of sweet or savoury.

I natrually went for the savoury flavours but there were quite a few that I wanted because they had spring onion, curry etc.
In the end I settled for cheese.

The cheese cookie balls were surprisingly delicious because they were quite cheesy and buttery.
Each one was moreish!
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Last but not least, the chocolates were just too cute not to try them.
