The owner said the noodles served here were the shrimp roe ones, so because of that, I gave it a try.
Basically it was shrimp roe noodles (har Ji meen) topped with satay sauce and grilled beef.
Not many places serve these noodles, and also with curry. Interesting!!
In general, most Indonesian food are basically noodles in sauce, but I think this is an adaptation for HK’ers.
The noodles were slightly too soft, but not stuck together, and the satay sauce was good with lots of peanuts and not evidently sweet like the chinese satay sauces.
The beef was ok, thinly sliced and slightly soft due to the flour used to soften it up, although there was one piece that was still raw (on the left side of pictures).
