[Review] Patty King Patties

Spotted Patty King and Electric Rooms a while ago when I was on the bus so made a note to visit them.

Along this stretch, there are quite a few Jamaican shops.
Patty King stood out because they specialize in Patties which are golden yellow pastries that look like turnovers filled with meat or savoury fillings.

As well as patties, they also serve sides like Callaloo, Jerk Chicken, Rice and peas, ackee & salt fish etc.
They also serve Patty and Coco bread which is bread filled with a patty.

It was my first visit, so I decided to get a vegetable patty which was heated up for me.
I would have ordered more but I had just finished a huge breakfast at the Electric Rooms nearby.

The vegetable patty was quite nice with a slight spiciness so overall you can think of it like a turnover shaped pasty made with flaky pastry.
