Stir Fried pin noodles @ Cambo Tea Restaurant

Chose this restaurant because they had the stir-fried pin noodles.

Stir fried silver pin noodles:
The noodles were nice and al-dente, not too salty or oily but the oil odour in the noodles were strong.
So if you like these type of noodles with that so called “wok hei” then you will like it.
"wok hei" is the smokey flavouring in the food as a result of being cooked in a wok, just like the charred taste you get from grilling, hard to explain but the "wok hei" taste is definately not my cup of tea especially when some woks are not cleaned properly.

black eyed bean soup :
The bean taste was faint and there was CFC odour in the soup from the CFC bowl.

Cheese Pontikeges @ Annie Bakery

After eating at God’s Restaurant I was attracted by these pontikeges, which looked quite big, so decided to go in and get some.
They had some other really interesting items such as the coconut tarts, which were immensely yellow.
The chicken burgers looked really delicious because the chicken patties were uniform and I liked how thin they were because they looked crispy.
The pineapple bun cakes were interesting too because they were pineapple buns made into cake form with a pineapple cake looking top.
Overall their items look quite inviting but they did not like people taking photographs of their food.

cheese pontikeges:
The pontikeges were nice and chewy, the cheese taste was prominent, but I didn’t like the slight sweetness and the heavy butter taste.

I want to come back for their chicken burgers but their atitude really discourages you to come back or maybe I will come back but not bother to write about it.

Scrambled egg with prawns @ The Match Box

Since my last visit, they now have another branch in Causeway Bay too.
A few blocks away from each other.

This was one of the few Chinese Cafes I used to go to before my sudden outburst of trying Chinese cafes lately.

Scrambled egg with prawns:
The scrambled egg here was delicious because it was like eggy gravy with pieces of prawns in it.
There were lots of spring onions which made it even more delicious.
It tasted good with or without soy sauce, but adding soy enhanced it a bit more.

Double fudge brownies @ Mrs Fields Cookies

Felt like something sweet so decided to get some Double fudge brownies
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Double fudge brownies:
I was expecting these to be sweet however they were too sweet this time.
They were also cold as well because the cabinet had been chilled.
