Bang Bang food hall

Just your usual Asian food hall!
The only food worthy was the dim sum from Royal China.

The noodles were disgusting, they had that disgusting metallic taste.

ASDA Cafe at Isle of Dogs

There are not many ASDAs around depending on your location so ASDA Cafes would even be more a rarity because there are simply not many.

At a recent visit to the Isle of dog asda, there was an ASDA cafe so went in to have a look.

It was clean, spacious and generally impressive.

The battered fish looked really good and so did the rest of the stuff.

Unfortunately, I had tasting nearby which was the reason I was in the area so I couldn't eat anything but had a mini doughnut instead.

It was definitely well filled for that size compared to other brands.

Overall, would definitely recommend this place.

Malaysian fare at Halia

Went to Halia because the food looked authentic and indeed it was however it was really frustrating because everything was barely hot.

Ordered the soto ayam and lotong, the rice cakes were inconsistent, some were soft while some were not so hard.

Chicken Rice at Biters

Biter's is another shop that does chicken rice so went in to try.

It is on the pricey side compared to other chicken joints but the decor is much nicer.

Anyway, the rice, chicken and sauce is the same as the other place I go to but the rice was too spicy for me.

Morley's x Heinz fried chicken sauce

Basically it was sweet with strong onion notes and fiery chilli.
On a side note fried chicken shops are everywhere especially in East London so competition is fierce.
Morley's is one of those well known ones or with good pr since they got to collab with Heinz last year at The Standard.

GDK's new waffle bread sides: Sweet or Savoury (German Doner Kitchen)

There are two new sides at GDK, the Cheesy Garlic Waffle and the Chocolate Waffle Bread £2.99.
Anyway, tried both.

The waffle bread is really nice, I loved the crisp light texture.

For the cheesy garlic one, it was quite nice but the garlic sauce got a bit sickly and the sweet one was nice but it was a bit boring.
