Paddington market halls

Before going I struggled to find any stall that interested me.
Food was sub par as expected.

Fish and chips from Goodmayes

Discovered this chippie Thanks to Aldi.
It was definitely worth my visit as it was proper fish and chips.
I had the cod and chips with some extra masala fish bites.
The chips were what I was looking for, pale which indicates they were fried once and their oil is clean.
Both fish were good but I felt the fish bites were better because they were flakey and moist with elasticity however the masala was too spicy.
The big piece of cod was also good but the colour of the fish was not as white probably tainted by the batter and the texture was different but the guy was able to explain so he knows his stuff.
Will definitely be back and they also user my favourite Chef's Larder ketchup.

Blank Street cookies and Rhubarb matcha

Blank Street cookies are seriously good especially the carrot cake which has walnuts, cream cheese, raisins, carrots and cinnamon.
The pistachio was nutty and indulgent.
I do not eat mine straight away because I like to get an extra bag so that it blots the oil from it.

Overall cookies are nice but the matcha was a bit disappointing.

Free lox bagel from It's Bagels in collaboration with Coach

There were free bagels at the pop-up event celebrating Rexy's arrival in London on Regent Street by Coach.
The free bagels were available on Saturday and Sunday so there was a long queue.
I waited for 2 hours and finally got a LOX bagel because the pastrami one was finished.
Anyway, it was definitely nice and fully loaded while the sesame was aromatic.
Finished with a complimentary which gave made my Sunday.

Softserve and cookies at Softserve Society

To start off the pandan softserve was the best I have had, definitely strong pandan flavours but it can get quite sweet.
Softserve flavours:
The carrot cake was a bit of a let down, it lacked the spices although the cream cheese made it better.

Hot Cross Buns at Grumpy Goose, Coulsdon

Spotted some interesting shiny hot cross buns with specks of bright red which I suspected were glacier cherries.
Left the place because there was a noisy kid.
Went back for it anyway and Thanks to the noisy kid it was half priced because it was closing nice.
Overall a nice hot cross bun with glacier cherries, chunky fruit peel and raisins.
No offense but I get stressed out with noisy kids.

DD's Cafe, Coulsdon, one of the few Chinese run Greasy Spoons

A long-standing establishment that was once a tea house, caught my attention due to its Chinese ownership hints on Google and its eclectic menu featuring udon alongside traditional breakfast items.
(To be more specific, Mainland China)
The cafe that was set up in a converted house added to its charm with the dining area in a living room.
Overall, the food was how it was expected but the brand of tinned tomatoes were not acidic as other ones.
The sausage was memorable because normally the casing will shrivel but it stayed plump all the way through.
The food met expectations but the brand of tinned tomatoes they used were not as acidic as I hoped.
The sausage stood out for retaining its plump casing throughout the meal.
To summarize, the liver and bacon is the best I have ever had.
