Midnight Pantry cookies

I have always wanted to try the pandan cookie from Midnight Pantry but it has been hard because of ever changing locations etc.
Finally they are now at Kings Cross with a permanent joint serving drinks as well.
On this visit had the white chocolate ube and a sparkling lychee tea drink which was refreshing.
The purple cookie has an interesting green at the base which probably explains why you always have green poop after eating purple ube food.
The purple drink was lychee and the usual butterfly pea flower.
Can't wait until they have the pandan.

Affordable and delicious wholesome meals at The Bus Cafe, Waterloo

Discovered The Bus Cafe hidden in a bus garage so had to try it.
In Central London, Breakfast starts at £5.50 breakfast with tea.
It was shockingly good.
What impressed me the most was that they had kippers and eggs, an old fashioned breakfast that is rarely offered these days.
On a second visit was back for Jerk but they had duck leg and lamb chops.
Additionally had some lamb chops for 4.50.
Was strangely given buttered brown toast but it mopped up the gravy nicely.
Again, delicious and probably better than gastropubs etc.
This is definitely not what you would expect to find here!
Finally came back for the jerk chicken and oxtail.
The jerk is boneless chicken, some pieces were dry and some were good but the oxtail is definitely the best.

Disappointing at Ben’s Traditional Fish & Chips

Went at the wrong moment because the chips were not like the ones I observed on peoples plates. They were fried twice and yellow.
Fish was fresh and flakey but strangely lacked the taste of fish.

Paddington market halls

Before going I struggled to find any stall that interested me.
Food was sub par as expected.

Fish and chips from Goodmayes

Discovered this chippie Thanks to Aldi.
It was definitely worth my visit as it was proper fish and chips.
I had the cod and chips with some extra masala fish bites.
The chips were what I was looking for, pale which indicates they were fried once and their oil is clean.
Both fish were good but I felt the fish bites were better because they were flakey and moist with elasticity however the masala was too spicy.
The big piece of cod was also good but the colour of the fish was not as white probably tainted by the batter and the texture was different but the guy was able to explain so he knows his stuff.
Will definitely be back and they also user my favourite Chef's Larder ketchup.

Blank Street cookies and Rhubarb matcha

Blank Street cookies are seriously good especially the carrot cake which has walnuts, cream cheese, raisins, carrots and cinnamon.
The pistachio was nutty and indulgent.
I do not eat mine straight away because I like to get an extra bag so that it blots the oil from it.

Overall cookies are nice but the matcha was a bit disappointing.

Free lox bagel from It's Bagels in collaboration with Coach

There were free bagels at the pop-up event celebrating Rexy's arrival in London on Regent Street by Coach.
The free bagels were available on Saturday and Sunday so there was a long queue.
I waited for 2 hours and finally got a LOX bagel because the pastrami one was finished.
Anyway, it was definitely nice and fully loaded while the sesame was aromatic.
Finished with a complimentary which gave made my Sunday.
