McDonalds big cheesy

McDonalds big & cheesy, a 100% beef patty, double cheese, red onions, crispy onions, fresh lettuce, and creamy cheese sauce in a toasted snowflake flour-dusted bun.
Tried this burger twice without lettuce and cheese slices because I wanted to appreciate the cheese sauce.
It was really nice but inconsistent at two different stores.
The good one was soft , flavourful and piping hot but came in the wrong box.
The dry and cold one came in a festive box with a Chinese auspicious 88 number lol.

Delicious duck from The Duck Shed London

Named The Duck Shed, they obviously specialize in duck.

You will find them here and there when they have a stall in London.

I believe I saw them outside Kings Cross station and various other places but ended up trying them at Kingdom of Winter at Excel.

Duck is so versatile and tastes good in general.
There are three choices: English, French and Vietnamese in the form of salad, burger or wrap.
Clearly the English and French were my choice.
I felt that the wrap held it better.
For the French, it was all good but lacked raclette cheese so the chutney and cornichons stole the show.
As for the duck it was just like confit/aromatic duck quality.

When udon meets Laksa at Kineya Mugimaru
It never occurred to me visit Kineya Mugimaru because I am particular about Udon. 

It has to be inaiwa type of udon which is similar to tagliatelle in shape as I find the usual ones tasteless and difficult to eat. 

I finally made a visit because they had laksa. 

To my surprise, the udon was not bad and it was much thinner than the usual ones with a firm texture like hard ramen. 

You can see the udon is thinner than the tips of the chopsticks.
It was a nice bowl of udon laksa because the broth had a strong prawn base with heat, however I found it really spicy and it becomes spicier if you mix the red paste.

There was only two prawns but they were springy and crisp with the guts removed.

Returned for the Yaki Udon which was also nice but a little too sweet as expected.

The quality of the beef slices wasn't bad but clumped together.

Sink your teeth in this tasty Christmas stacked sandwich.Spotted this sandwich joint on my way to a restaurant so made a mental note to come back.
Choosing a sandwich was difficult because they are all equally captivating from Mac and fried chicken to the meat/veg Christmas options which are both seasonal because the mac is for Thanksgiving.
I'm partial to stuffing so I got the Cauli Cheese ciabatta and asked for some extra mac.
It was really satisfying watching them pile the layers.
The sandwich is neatly wrapped and sliced in half which makes it easy to eat.
Obviously I couldn't get everything in my mouth in one bite because it was big but every bite was tasty.
The shoestring crispy fries acted like crisps which added a salty kick to it.
The cauliflower and mac cheese was nice and cheesy along with the yummy stuffing while the red cabbage wasn't too sweet.
I could have done without the salsa verde because the rocket got in the way because it gets stringy when its moist.
There was a gravy dip as well which makes this sandwich complete.
