Sweet strawberry waffles with cream @ Juicy J's

I should have come here a long time ago because the menu has slightly changed. They use to offer waffles with fresh strawberries but now perhaps it is not the strawberry season so they have replaced fresh strawberries with jam.

Even though it was jam, it was quite nice because I asked for the waffles to be soft on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside. The whipped cream and chocolate sauce was really nice. The chocolate sauce was strong, bitter and not sweet.
Hopefully they will have fresh strawberries again but if they don't plain cream and chocolate sauce would be fine for me!!!

It would be good if the potato wedges could be replaced with some fresh fruit such as sliced bananas or berries or even canned peaches so that the set is not savory and a sweet combination.

Fine Cakes @ Fine Foods

I have always wanted to try the cakes from Fine Foods but East Tsim Sha Tsui is too far and inconvenient.

They had a counter at Hang Hau so I bought some cakes from there.

Initially I did not know they were Fine Foods because I went over thinking they were selling English foods until I went to the counter. The cake selection was not that British because I was expecting the cakes that you would find at Teakha even thought I still havent been yet.. The cakes at the stall were exactly the same ones at Tsim Sha Tsui.

In the end I chose the strawberry yogurt and the green tea and mango.
I ate the strawberry one first because the taste was lighter.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
strawberry yogurt cake This was the favourite of the two because the yogurt tasted natrual and light, the texture was silky mousse with soft sponge at the bottom. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
green tea and mango I am not fan of mango but got this because I wanted to try the green tea.
There was a layer of green tea that had a truffle/praline texture which I really liked.

Black pepper pork @ Devil's Advocate

The pork was salty this time but the roast potatoes were nice, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside.
I would have preferred it without the black pepper because the sauce tasted asian.
The air conditioning was really cold and you can see it bellowing out from the top.

Naan Tuna Mayo @ MOS Burger

I found it quite interesting that MOS Burger was offering naans topped with cheese just like a pizza so I went there and tried it.

There were three flavours: seafood, pizza and cheese and tuna.
Only cheese and tuna was available that day and after trying it, I think that would have been the best flavour anyway.
The appearance of the naan reminded me of bicycle saddle seat.
Usually I do not like Pizzas with thick bases but because it was naan bread it was much nicer because it was nice and soft.
Also the cheese was just right and the tomato sauce and tuna tasted strong but each taste was distinct.
In addition there was caraway seeds in it which really enhanced the overall taste.
