Maria's curry flavoured eggettes

I always like trying new things so when I heard about the curry eggettes I decided to try them.
However they did not have them as scheduled when I went.
I have tried calling this branch to ask if they were doing the curry eggettes but no one answers the phone.

You have to go there at the right time because there is not always someone at the eggette counter or it is sold out.

Anyway I finally managed to get it this time!

The eggettes cost $17 and you have to wait around 8-10 minutes.
The eggettes are made with their special curry mixture.

The eggette maker is heated up
Then the curry spices and black sesame are added.
After adding the mixture, shredded seaweed is added.

Curry flavoured eggettes:
The curry taste taste was really spicy and the eggette was really sweet which I did not like.
It would have tasted nice if the eggette was savoury.

The best Lemon tea I have had in Tai O

The lemon tea here is unique from the others served in Hong Kong.

It contains no lemon slices which give off a bitter taste due to the lemon peel.

When I saw reviews of this strange looking lemon tea I just had to try it, and it tastes just as good as the Lemon Tea at Greyhound.
The price of the lemon tea is cheap compared to Greyhound.

I rarely order Lemon tea in Hong Kong because the tea that they use is not my cup of tea and for cold lemon tea, you need to request for no syrup or less syrup because the standard ones are far too sweet but after requesting, it usually ends up far sweeter than it should.

As well as the taste, the appearance of the tea looks like tea with a few drops of milk added to it.
The lemon tea is served in a glass with a straw.

It was interesting watching them make the lemon tea because they make it like cocktails where they add various liquids and pour from one glass to another ensuring the lemon tea cocktail is mixed thoroughly.

First glass of lemon tea:
After I took a sip, I had to order a second glass because it was so nice I drank half a glass in one go.
The tea taste was apparent infused with strong lemon juice balanced by the gentle sweetness of the sweetener they used.
It was similar to the lemon tea at Greyhound but the tea taste was stronger.

Second glass of lemon tea:
This was made by different person from the first glass but it still tasted nice.
This one was slightly sweeter.

Instant noodles with five spice pork:
The broth was bright red but luckily it was not too spicy!
The noodles were just right and not too soft!
