Traditional English food could be history

As I have loathed in the past, so many traditonal English dishes are disappearing because the demand of these dishes are decreasing.
It was recently made a subject again when the papers wrote about how the Z generation just haven't tried these dishes and a list was made.

Fortunately as a serious foodie, I have tried 99% of these dishes because whenever I see anything different I just have to try it especially traditional dishes to document it.

Thankfully, Morrisons is keeping the traditional going by still selling them such as spotted dick which no other supermarket sells as well as Haslet and stuff like that.

Here are pictures of traditional English food that I have had except for Steak Diane.

I'm also missing a picture for steak and kidney pudding (not to be confused with steak and kidney pie).

La Tua Pasta is everywhere

La Tua Pasta started off in the market in 2006, since then they have grown and you will find them at Borough market serving pasta, shelved at M&S to exhibiting at various shows!

I first tried the at Borough market for their gnocchi, then I bumped into them at the trade show and now I've spotted them on the shelves of M&S so bought the Pappardelle which tasted amazing!!

At the trade show, I tried mini doughnuts filled with pistachio was so heavenly.

They were like crispy little gnocchi with a slight potato taste filled with creamy pistachio in the middle.

Parpadelle cooked in two ways: tomato sauce and Turkish tripe soup.

Funfetti, Vegan sticky toffee and Tiramisu cake at Ikea

I was really captivated by the funfetti cake at IKEA which is colourful and fun!

You have to get there really early because the cafe closes early and the restaurant does not sell it.

Finally made it one afternoon and it was totally worth it.

I didn't have any expectations as I thought the cake was going to be a Madeira type but it was proper soft and moist cake in the middle that was not too sweet.

The tiramisu was also, the cake texture was similar to the funfetti but with an overall light tiramisu flavouring.

Also tried the Sticky Toffee Pudding cake which is vegan.

It wasn't as nice as the funfetti because the cake texture was rather strange.
