Lush Poetry Pharmacy

I'm so glad this is here, it is so much better in terms of drinks offerings than the previous one.

M&S Café new grazing platters

M&S Café new items: grazing platters, rhubarb raspberry frappe, banana loaf toast.
The grazing platter features a selection of cheeses, stuffed olives, semi-dried tomatoes, rocket, houmous and soft Greek-style flatbreads.
Meat platter includes a range of delicious cured meats like chorizo.
It was nice but with an English palate I would like to see a platter with crackers, brie, cheddar and dried fruits.

Thai fruit shaped desserts called Luk Chup by House of Kanom

These are agar coated fruit shaped desserts filled with silky mung bean paste.
Visually very nice and colourful especially the mangosteen.
They weren't bad, however I found them too sweet with a toilet type/incense/Indian Jasmine/Thai Jasmine aroma that is floral but in a nice way infused in the mung bean paste.
The texture of the agar jelly was like hard boiled egg white with a bit of resistance.
It was like eating a sweet hard boiled quail egg with the agar like the egg white and the starchy filling was similar to hard boiled yolk.
Overall ok but I don't have an Asian palette for sweet things.

Amazing Indian Lunch buffet Tamashah

Stumbled upon this place for Indian Buffet called Tamashah in Crawley for 13.95 for lunch and it was fantastic.
It was nice and quiet on a Sunday and there was no time limit.
Most of the usual suspects where there like Korma, Tikka, rices, breads and desserts.
The seafood, prawn options were really good with squid in it too.
Dessert was to my liking especially the rice pudding which was not too sweet and had a fresh jasmine aroma to it.

Indeed it was Schnitzel heaven

In every cuisine you will find something that is coated and fried like battered fish in fish and chips, chicken nuggets, Japanese tempura/cutlet, Korean Corndogs, Russian Kievs to the Austrian Schnitzel.
Enter Schnitzel Heaven and Schnitzel Forever which specializes in Schnitzel.
I decided to visit Schnitzel Heaven first and was definitely impressed.
Basically, it was a Schnitzel done right, the coating was good, meat quality was good and the frying oil was clean.
Simple as that!
Each bite was delicious, the meat was battered extremely thin but remained moist from frying and the Japanese coating was light and crispy and did not retain the oil or have a funny taste.
It was a good balance because the coating was not too thick or over powering in taste that it didn't really need any sauces but fresh lemon took it to another lemon.
On the menu, you will find some fancy Schnitzel with sauces and toppings but as it was my first time I had it plain so you can taste the meat quality and in general how good it is.

Dino's Cafe, New Spitalfields

Failed visit to Dino's Cafe, I knew I shouldn't of  trusted google but there was no number or other info online.
Just like Billingsgate Cafe, I should have guessed it would have been closed by midday.
Anyway, at least I got to see the New Spitalfields market and did my walking for the day!
