Greek frappe from Pitta Santorini in Barking

Whenever you go into Greek restaurants you will also see Greek Frappe which got me curious so finally tried it from Pitta Santorini in Barking.
It is definitely different from the usual ice blended frappes it has this lovely light foamy layer on top which reminds me of Dalgona coffee.

Staying at London's first underground hotel Zedwell (Hotel review)

I love staying at special places and Zedwell near Tottenham Court Road is one of them that you will remember.
What makes it special is that the rooms are all underground because it was a former car park.
Rooms go as deep as 5 levels down with no windows obviously.
Themed as cocoons I was expecting it to be like a capsule but it is just a basic room with no windows but it does have ensuite shower, sink and toilet.
In terms of location, it is adjacent to Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road TFL and underground station which is super handy.
The room does not contain a kettle or hairdryer but you can get hot and cold water at reception which also had communal tables and sofas.
Floors are tiled so it can get quite cold in the winter.
Being underground, you have to rely on wifi which they have and it connects with an email address.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here as I felt really safe from the outside world without the windows.
You get to experience literally pitch dark environment once the lights in the room are switched off as you will not get any light coming in from the sides of the door even between the carpet and the door.
It was relatively quiet compared to some other hotels but you will hear toilets flushing and the occasional train passing beneath you.

Brunch at Chateau Cafe, Stevenage

Chateau Cafe stands out in town because of its French style decor and seating.
The menu items are the usual coffee shop suspects like eggs Royal and benedict but with a healthy twist of smashed avocado.
They also do gluten free cakes and a good choices of teas.
Ordered the avocado royale because the Basil dressing sounded good but it turns out to be a typo because it was balsamic dressing.
The tea menu was more detailed on the wall compared to the printed menu so if I had seen that I would have ordered the green tea.
Overall, not bad.

Hotel Review: Kirkdale Hotel

From all the hotel stays, Kirkdale is one that you will remember unlike the modern ones.
There were good and bad points about this place.
Let's start with the good points first in the sense that it was memorable because it is a converted Victorian House so everything is nice and nostalgic.
When you enter the hotel, there is this old library smell about it and the living room and furniture transports you to the past and I love that.
There is free wifi so you won't get disconnected from the world.
The room isn't bad and very comforting as it is more like a bedroom than a hotel room if you miss those Victorian houses.
The only complaint was the sticky worn out carpets, dirty mugs and cigarette smells as there are people smoking inside as well as outside which makes it way in the room.
