[Review] Neds Noodle Bar - Waterloo

I love noodles especially when you can customize what you want.
Neds Noodle Bar is one of those where you choose a noodle, sauce and ingredient just like Wok to Walk but the sauces at Neds appealed to me and the noodle box is another reason to visit.

I know it sounds weird but I've always wanted to go to America because the Chinese food over there comes in cute boxes like this!!
The kids box is the smallest therefore it is friggin cute!

As well as noodles, they also have desserts like banana fritters but the Japanese donut captivated me so I will go back for it.

There are two branches in London, the one near the London Eye is big and spacious while the one at Old Street is a bit smaller.

Tried the bigger branch for the black bean noodles which was more enjoyable than Wok to Walk but the only thing I disliked was the sauce as I didn't expect it to be that sweet.

[Review] Neds Noodle Bar - Old Street

After trying Neds Noodle Bar in Waterloo, I decided to try the joint at Old Street.

This time I got the Kids Box hoping to eat the donut as well but I was a bit full so I will leave it for a another visit because they serve tea at that branch which would go nicely with the donut.

As expected, the Kids Box is dinky and cute and the choices are quite basic which I thought tasted better.

I got the egg noodles with soy sauce and I liked it more than the noodles with vegetables in black bean sauce because there were a bit too much vegetables which get in the way when you are trying to appreciate the noodles.

So I was definitely more satisfied this time round except that it was a little too salty so I didn't really finish it all but adding some chili sauce helped.

Sawmill Cafe, Stratford

Great place offering healthy food.
I like the juice selection as they had some interesting combinations like Sweet potato and apple.

Discovered this joint while I was on the bus.
There was a good selection and the chips serve here are flat and chunky.

[Review] Mr G's Cafe, Stepney Green

I used to come here regularly when I was in the area.
It was the first place I tried bubble.
However today, when I went in I could smell oil in the air and you could taste it heavily the food.

The grilled cheese is nice though.
