As I had a craving for Goat curry I decided to take a random trip to Walworth Road, just round the corner from Elephant and Castle.
I didn't have a shop in mind so just looked around to see which one caught my fancy.
Ossie's Jerk Chicken looked good so went in but they only take cash so I had to get some cash.
It was the one for me because the ladies in the shop were friendly and cheerful, you could feel their passion.
What was interesting was that they also offered Lobster which is rather expensive ingredient so from that I felt confident that their food was going to be good.
Came back and got the mutton curry for £4 which includes a drink.
Apart from the odd bones here and there, the mutton was soft and silky in a flavourful curry sauce which went down well with the rice and peas.
Compared to other rice and peas I have had, the peas here were extremely soft and starchy.
Finished off with the tropical juice drink which was nice and soothing after a spicy curry which was spiced just right and not too spicy.

[Review] Market Tavern Croydon
Yorkshire wraps were the trend a few years ago with beef basically wrapped in a Yorkshire like a wrap but made with Yorkshire pudding.
Since the Market Tavern in Croydon had it, I decided to go in and try it.
They also do Monday to Friday specials like other pubs .
As it was Wednesday, my friend had the pie deal and I had the wrap.
Unfortunately, my wrap was a disappointment because the beef was dry and chewy.
There was an option for chips or jacket so I chose the jacket because I had a feeling the chips could be over done which was the case for my friends chips so I was glad I chose the jacket.
However the jacket was evidently frozen baked potatoes reheated for convenience because I have bought these before which have a dry and powdery texture.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend it or come here again.

W H Wellbeloved Butchers, Deptford, Since 1829
Spotted this shop as I was crossing the road so went there to check it out.
Definitely a lovely butcher shop that has been here since 1829.
When you go in, you are greeted with this heavenly whiff of delicious pies.
The meats at the front look good as well as the black puddings.
Percy Ingle, Deptford High Street
The biggest branch of Percy Ingle that used to sit people.
I wish they still do because it would be lovely to eat their delicious cakes and bakes there with tea.
