Qing bu liang drink @ Hung Fook Tong

I was attracted by the size of the bottle so got this drink.

It costs $3.5 if you buy other products in the store but as there was nothing else I wanted, I just got the drink which costs $4.5 so you are only saving $1 if you buy other items.

Anyway, I just tried it for fun not for its herbal properties but the taste was light and pleasant and not too sweet.
The drink contains longgan and jobs tear seeds.

Slow cooked steak selection @ Fairwood

After trying the slow cooked beef with pasta, I was looking forward to the slow cooked steak for more meat because the lunch version only had a few slices of beef.

Sadly the steak was quantity and not quality, whereas the lunch was quality and not quantity!

Although there was more meat in the steak, it had lots of tendons so there was alot of wastage when I ate it.
The vegetables tasted slightly dehydrated.
The plate was annoying because it was not a flat plate, it was concaved in the centre making it hard to eat!

New dish at 嚐點, however they have now changed the food containers and used smaller boxes so the rice is probably more managable.
However they were really stingy with the fish, there was only four pieces.

Attempted to try this restaurant the third time.
This time I was actually in there but when I wanted to order the waitress would not come over and expected me to shout out what I wanted. I had to walk over to the counter because I could not shout which was really stupid.

Anyway, as I couldnt find it on the menu and she did not know what I was looking for I left.
It would be helpful if they had a menu with pictures.

Not my cup of tea @ Hung Kee Seafood Restaurant

I have never liked food in Sai Kung because it is frankly a rip off and some of the seafood is not local.

The siu mai here was over steamed, the skin stuck to the steamer and tore when it was picked up with chopsticks. The sweet and sour pork was made with dry and tough pieces of pork The crab e-fu noodles was the only item that looked Ok, and as expected for seafood restaurants it was real crab meat and not surimi meat, however the crab was not that fresh. The sweet corn soup was naturally sweet itself but they added sugar to it making it worse.

The pork was oily, fatty and dry.
