Scrambled egg with spinach and mushroom @ Mazter

Previously I have tried this place for Japanese food and now they are serving breakfast so I went there to try their breakfast.

Apart from this branch, they now have another branch at Sunshine City plaza in Ma On Shan and Tuen Mun.

Before I went, I was not expecting many people having their breakfasts there because the food during lunch and dinner is quite expensive.

However when I got there the restaurant was almost full, but the prices were reasonable around $20-$30 per set. The only problem was that they only had 1-2 waitors to take the orders and bring out the breakfasts so a definate headturner if you are in a rush.

After ordering, it took a while for the breakfast to arrive.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Scrambled egg with spinach and mushroom It looked as nice as the product picture but the egg was tasteless and there was no salt or pepper on the table.
The spinach leaves in the scrambled egg were half cooked and the mushrooms were the only items that tasted good in the scrambled egg. The piece of toast that came with it was pretty standard, buttered with margarine and tasting slightly sweet because the bread was sweet.

Tea
Just the usual Hong Kong style milk tea! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
After finishing I went out to pay but the waitors were too busy to take the money at the till chatting to another waitor

Honey Cajun chicken mozz walnut apple sauce wrap

I used to like the food at the Wan Chai branch before they closed down, so I rarely go to Oliver's these days.

Anyway happened to be nearby so decided to try the Honey Cajun chicken mozzarella walnut apple sauce wrap. I was really disappointed because it did'nt taste as nice as I was expecting.
The apple sauce was too sweet and the overall taste was too salty and what made it worse was that it was quite expensive.
I just felt that the tastes had been adjusted to suit the locals especially with its location in Shatin. It would have tasted great if the flavouring was not so intense because the paring of apple, walnuts and cajin chicken were good.
If they used fresh apples instead of apple sauce it would taste even more refreshing.

Fried chicken @ Cube Square

Came back for the fried chicken which costs $18 for two pieces.

I was expecting it not to be spicy but it was, there was some chili powder on the outside.

Stir fried thick noodles @ 美食吧

I was surprised the whole set of staff had gone and there are a new set of faces.

The menu is slightly different too!

They had stir-fried car noodles [鐵板炒車仔粗麵] which was interesting so I tried that.
I tried the stir fried thick noodles and it was a different taste because these noodles are usually served in soup or boiled and served with oyster sauce.

There was no alkaline taste and after it was stir-fried there was a nice aroma from the other ingredients such as the five spice pork cubes and satay beef.
The noodles were also stir-fried with julienne carrots and beanshoots.

Good selection of sushi @ Take Out Sushi

Found out about this branch when I picked up a leaflet from their branch in Fortress Hill.

The sushi price is around $4 - $6 per piece which costs slightly more than Sushi Express.
However there is more choice here such as ark shell sushi and raw scallop sushi which I cannot choose at Sushi Express unless I buy the pack which has a fixed selection.
As well as sushi they sell some really cute sushi stickers which are tiny.
The sushi was nice and fresh especially the ark shell clam and the scallop and the rest were as good as Sushi Express.
Although I am not fond of cooked scallop but I picked it because it had the orange part.
