EAT2GO is part of the OZO Wesley hotel, which is why they serve the same seafood pies as Zaan.
Their grab-and-go outlet offers take-away sandwiches, salads, soups and other snacks and treats made fresh every day, along with a selection of juices, shakes, coffees and other beverages.
Previously, this outlet used to be Pret A Manger.
Anyway, when I got there, quite a lot of the items were sold out so I just got the Thai shrimp cakes.

Thai shrimp cake salad with citrus:
Here' s what it says on the labelling.
Chinese lettuce, Thai shrimp cake, orange cube (I think they mean oranges or orange slices), roasted peanut, boiled French Bean, Cherry tomatoes and Thai dressing.
It looked more like an appetizer than a salad and it should have been simply called Thai shrimp cakes then I would have thought the salad was a bonus because I counted one whole cherry tomato, three short pieces of French bean and four pieces of orange.
The prawn cakes were surprisingly good because there were lot of prawns in it and no lemongrass.
After dipping it in the Thai sauce, it was more appetizer but the prawn cakes were too salty and the oranges tasted like canned mandarin slices.

Too spicy and not my cup of tea
Cafe Hunan (Wan Chai)
I have always wanted to try this restaurant in Sai Ying Pun because of the wooden tubs of rice.
Now there is a branch in Wan Chai which used to be the Curry pot.
Unfortunately, the menu is slightly different to SYP and they don't have the wooden tubs of rice for lunch.
The air conditioning at this place was freezing and the people were really noisy.
The food was incredibly expensive as too!!
I am not an expert on Hunan cuisine, but everything we tried was SPICY.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
noodles:
This was meant to be stir fried noodles but it was super spicy.
Basically all I could taste was chili and more chili!!

Roast Lamb at the Canny Man
For roast dinners, I normally go to Delaney's but recently roast lamb was on the menu at Canny Man, so I went there.
I started off with cabbage and bacon soup which was clear and warming because their air conditioning was quite cold.
Then came the roast lamb.
Usually it comes with mash but their chips are perfectly fried which was why I changed the mash to the chips.
The highlight had to be the vinegar mint sauce with finely chopped mint and the gravy which went deliciously with the thinly sliced juicy lamb, not to mention the perfectly golden chips which were crispy on the outside and soft inside.
It was so delicious and reminded me of the lovely roast dinners that the dinner ladies whipped up for lunch.

Arji bahji green monday
Found out from their FB about this new burger with a British Indian touch.
The burger is influenced by Bhaji veggie fritters, hence the Argy Bhaji.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Argy Bhaji:
The fritter was crazily delicious and light with shallots, jalapeno, and chickpea flour.
It had a lovely kick with Indian spices served with mango chutney, mint and coriander yoghurt and beetroot slaw.
The beetroot slaw was good but I wish there was more though.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Overall, I love their vegetarian burgers and I will have to try the chicken as well.

Eaten their pies at Eat My Cakes
This was one of the shops I planned to eat around the area as well as Nyonya Coming (http://www.openrice.com/restaurant/commentdetail.htm?commentid=2373423) and Leisure Time Crepes(http://www.openrice.com/restaurant/commentdetail.htm?commentid=2373256).
It is located on the steep road overlooking the sea between the street of tall buildings.
There is a nice church opposite.
At Eat My Cakes, they sell pies and cakes.
Ordered the pie and dined there.
It was nice that they had self service water.
The only thing that put me off was the Chinese shop assistant in her early 50's with long hair walking barefoot in the kitchen.
To my horror, her shoes were back on within a flash which must have meant she put them on after putting my pie in the oven or before she did that!!
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Mushroom, feta and sweetcorn:
The pastry was amazing because it was thin, light and not oily but the filling was disappointing because there was no feta cheese and you couldn't see any.
There was a good amount of mushroom and the rest was potatoes and mixed vegetables.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Conclusion:
Not a very cheesy pie, but I saw some cheesy feet though~]

Delicious afternoon quiche tea set
O delice! is a relatively new French joint in town serving crepes and waffles.
They are always busy which means their food is good.
I managed to get there during Tea Time so I tried their Bacon and Mushroom quiche which is new.
They had crepes as an option for tea too.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Bacon and mushroom quiche:
I was super glad I chose the quiche because it was REALLY cheesy, I liked the browned cheese surface on top which was really nice and there was more cheese in the quiche filling as well.
The quiche pastry was also cheesy.
Normally I don't like bacon quiches but the bacon pieces were lean and meaty which was delicious with the eggy cheese filling in the quiche.
The salad on the side was also good because of the refreshing balsamic dressing that was not sweet like other places.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Earl Grey:
The tea they served was Twinning's Earl Grey tea.

Teriyaki salmon sushi salad at Pret A Manger
There are two new salads at Pret with a sushi twist to it, the Teriyaki salmon sushi salad and the Sesame chicken sushi salad.
The Sesame chicken sushi salad contains:
Brazilian chicken, wakame salad served with sushi rice, pickled cabbage and carrot salad, green seaweed and a side of tofu sesame dressing.
The Teriyaki salmon sushi salad contains:
Smoked salmon, wakame salad, sushi rice, pickled cabbage and carrot salad, green seaweed and sweet & sour Teriyaki sauce.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Teriyaki salmon sushi salad with miso soup:
The salad was colourful with salmon, pickled carrots, seaweed and purple cabbage.
It was really appetizing with the pickles while the salmon had a lightly salted taste.
The salad was tasty and didn't need the sauce but the Teriyaki sauce tastes sweet and flavourful which would go well with the pickles.
The miso soup at Pret is nice and light that doesn't leave you thirsty.
