Paya (lamb Trotters) at Laziza Hut

I discovered Laziza Hut after dining at Royal Park because of the product shots on the window!
The picture of curried legs definitely stood out and they looked like some kind of shanks.
After googling Paya, I found out that it was lamb trotters which is definitely something I want to try as I have tried Nepalese Pork Trotters before which were really tasty.
Went back another day just of the Paya and the guy at the restaurant was surprised that I knew this dish.
He even asked if I tried it before so I said I only tried the Nepalese version.
I didn't know how the consistency of the curry sauce was going to be so I did not order any rice or naan.
When the Paya came, it was like soup so I was glad I did not get the rice but it makes sense to have it with naan which is what they recommended.
I found the sauce quite spicy so I only managed to eat the trotter but it was delicious as expected but there was not much on it.
The trotter was soft and gelatinous as I hoped but I wonder if there was meant to be two according to the product shot.
As well as these dishes, they also do Peri Peri chicken which I believe is to diversify their menu.
Overall, I would definitely recommend paya if you haven't tried it.

The Friendly Dolphin Fish and Chips

As a chippy fan, I am trying to check all the chippies out.
The Friendly Dolphin Fish and Chips is located accross the road from Sutton Station.
It was my first time, so I just got a pound worth of chips to start.
The chips were not greasy with a full on potato tastes strangely like crisps and it desperately needed some ketchup as well as salt and vinegar.
Overall, not bad but not the best.

Free Taco and T-Shirt at the new Camden Taco Bell

I was so chuffed to be able to make it to the first day at Camden's new Taco bell.
They were giving away delicious supreme tacos and a nice black T-shirt with Camden on it as well as Taco Bell.
Years ago, I have always wanted to try Taco Bell and now they are everywhere.
They have even opened one in my home town but I don't remember if they gave anything out at the opening.
Anyway, their burritos are my favourites as well as their punchy sauces.

Christmas sandwich at E Pellici Cafe

E Pellici Cafe is a must visit in London as it has been here since the 1900s serving English breakfasts.
Breakfast has always been my thing but I am one of those people who can't make up my mind when it comes to breakfast as there are so many choices.
At E Pellici, there are four choices to be exact, two regular ones and two non meat ones but still it was difficult.
When I found out about the Christmas sandwich, my mind was made up for that.
It was not on the menu or posted anywhere so at the time of ordering I did not know what was in it or the price of the sandwich.
The sandwich arrived with a bowl of gravy and it was big enough for two with all that meat in it as I had pork and turkey!
It was a nice sandwich but it felt odd without any cranberry sauce and apple sauce which at the time of dining I didn't know they were missing until I saw someones post on social media.
I think I would have given it top marks in taste if there was sauce but I wasn't aware until I left.
May revisit in future for the bubble.

Wimpy's emergency keep it or gift it prize

Before Christmas Wimpy was running a competition on instagram for their merchandise so I entered for fun.
I really didn't expect to win anything but I really did!!!!!!
They announced their winners on their stories and a few days before Christmas I received my Wimpy goodies so I was really chuffed.
It was a box loaded with goodies which you can keep it or gift it with sellotape, Wimpy wrapping paper and labels included.
In my box, I got an apron, cap, mug, socks and special burger sauce which I don't think I want to share!!!
THANK YOU WIMPY, this calls for a visit to WIMPY in Wimpy gear!
