Breakfast at Marriott Miller & Carter Steakhouse in Bristol does not disappoint

Stayed at the Bristol Marriot Royal Hotel where breakfast was included.
There is a nice list of what is in the breakfast bar so you can see what there is.
However, we didn't see a live cooking station but it seems that you can request for eggs in a certain style which they will accommodate.
























Useless menu at Meet Fresh, London

Meet Fresh is a Taiwanese dessert company that does Taiwanese desserts.
After browsing the menu, unless you've had this dessert before the menu isn't exactly helpful because the only difference is the tiny product pictures and the numbers.
Being in London, I felt that the menu should be more informative for people who have not tried this dessert or perhaps they are trying to be selective with customers.
In these situations, you can only call for the help on google to for online delivery platforms which have information on the desserts.
The grass jelly was nice but wouldn't return.





Brunch at Flint House Reigate

Dined here because it was an independent cafe and the fact they had a Scotch egg breakfast where they make their own scotch eggs.
Unfortunately they were sold out so ordered the boiled egg and soldiers and Reuben sandwich.
We were told the Scotch eggs were sold out when ordering but the couple next to use only found out when the breakfast was brought to their table and replaced with something else.
Sadly we are in a Sourdough era where everything served is sourdough.
I'm not old but I wonder if the elderly generation who were brought up on toast enjoy sinking their teeth in this.
The only fortunate thing was that the sourdough was supplied from Chalk Hill farms a local bakery.
Other than that, food was good.
Since it was sourdough, you can expect the usual crunchy chewy textures and the distinctive taste.



















Delicious modern and traditional Murtabaks at Gopal's Corner (Singmalay UK)

To be honest, I used to think Gopal's Corner was Indian fare because they had roti and all that but it turns out that they serve Malaysian food.



Visited this eatery quite a few times and tried a variety of Murtabaks and laksa.
The laksa was very nice, it had a coconutty broth which was rich and thick with a reasonably spicy kick paired with thick egg noodles.
Had it twice, the first time, the soup was flavourful while the second time was spicier and bland.


All savoury murtabaks come with dhal curry which was not to my liking because of the spices and it tastes so different to other curries.
The chicken murtabak was lovely as it was crisp and eggy on the outside with moist chicken in the middle.

The star of the show for me was the spinach and cheese which was obviously there for vegetarians and it was seriously good because who doesn't love melted cheddar and spinach.
The banana murtabak is basically similar to a banana pancake but on the sweet side.
Last but not least was the Roti with margarine and condensed milk.
Same as Hong Kong style French Toast but nicer because the texture of Roti is nicer than Hong Kong toast which has a weird texture.
