Icecream in a tin at Initial Ice Cream Store

The first icecream I tried at Initial d wasn't good because it tasted like HK milk tea, but went back because they had this new salad flavour icecream that is served in a tin garnished with ice lettuce.

The icecream was really nice because it was spiked with lots of black pepper which went well with the tartness of the icecream.
After you finish the icecream, you can keep the tin by removing the plastic cup.

Premium lobster experience

When I went in this Lobster bar, I thought it was just a place for drinks because there were only three tables and bar.
I couldn’t see the kitchen anywhere so I wondered how they could cook all these wonderful sophisticated seafood dishes.
But sure enough, they were capable because I could smell these wonderful smells while I was looking at the menu.
As there were two of us, we had the lobster sliders and Typhoon shelter lobster.
+++++++++++++++
lobster sliders:

These were surprisingly good because the lobster meat was springy and sweet paired with this sauce that was spicy and delicious.
+++++++++++++++
New Brunswick Lobster – Hong Kong Typhoon Shelter style:

Traditionally, crabs and Mantis prawns have been used for Typhoon shelter dishes but eating crabs and Mantis prawns are difficult.
I like the way, they have Typhoon shelter lobster because it gives this dish a new experience and this is the best Typhoon shelter I have tried.
Normally it does not contain black beans but it was a mix of ginger, spring onions and black beans which is really tasty.

I finished the non lobster remains with bread because it was really tasty.
+++++++++++++++
Guilty Little Pleasures Mini Cupcakes:
Chocolate & Baileys / Mojito / Jack Daniels & Ginger

I loved these mini cupcakes because they were sweet and heavily spiked with alcohol!
The chocolate and Jack Daniels were my favourite.
+++++++++++++++
I will be back very soon!

Something sweet in the neighbourhood called Munchies

I love donuts with icing but not many places in HK have it so this is the place to go.

Earl grey donut with earl grey icecream:

The donut with earl grey icing was really nice because there was a strong earl grey flavour.
I also opted for EG icecream in the donut which I should have changed when I tried some because it was too sweet but there was a hoard of people behind so I couldn't be bothered to choose a different flavour.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆
earl grey cookie:

The cookie was soft and moist with a nice sugary taste.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆
cinnamon donut:

This was another good donut for sugar cravings with lovely cinnamon powder and sugar coating.

Nice view at the back and the staff were really nice.

Icecream spaghetti at Nun

Saw on social media, there was icecream spaghetti at NUN so went there for it.
Not quite sure why it is called NUN but maybe the Korean meaning is different because nun has a religious meaning which I won’t go into detail here.

Tried the strawberry spaghetti icecream which is just vanilla icecream extruded into spaghetti form, the texture was just like normal soft icecream and it was quite starchy.

Then I had the meiji chocolate sherbet which was rather clumpy and hard compared to other Korean places in Hong Kong.
It is garnished with meiji chocolate hence the name meiji chocolate sherbet.

Bowled over by Super bowls at Pret A Manger

Pret A Manger have launched these colorful super bowls of salad which comes in three flavours.
There are International variations but Hong Kong has SESAME CHICKEN NOODLE SUPER BOWL, KOREAN PORK NOODLE SUPER BOWL and the SCOTTISH ROAST SALMON SUPER BOWL.

I went for the chicken because it was light and refreshing with lots of cashew nuts and sesame.

The noodles tasted good with or without the sesame sauce and the colourful pickled cabbage made the salad appetizing.

Finished off with a fragrant Earl Grey tea.

For nibbles they have this popcorn bar which looks delicious.

Wonderfully Noble at Noble Spice

Ok you win! I have always wanted to come here for the buffet but the hours are impossible for me so came here for dinner.
The food was divine so I was really glad I came and the Manager and Manageress were really really nice.

There were so many choices for egg that I couldn't decide.
Most Indian restaurants don't have that many choices for egg!
There was Masala omelette!!

Vegetarian fried noodles.

In the end I ordered egg fried rice, egg bhurji, Tandoori paneer and vegetable sheekh kebab.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆
Tandoori paneer and vegetable sheekh kebab:

The Tandoori paneer lacked flavour and the vegetable kebabs were a bit too dry.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆
egg fried rice:

The egg fried rice was delicious because each grain of rice was distinct and flavoured. The bits of egg were fragrant and delicate with a tad of MSG that made it delicious but not abused.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆
egg bhurji:

This was scrambled eggs with onions, tomato and spices but the tomato taste is not as strong as it looks but the egg was delicious with the finely chopped onions that gave it a crisp texture.
This was perfect with the rice above!

Delicious congee with consistency at 天將麵包 (Tseung Kwan O)

Delicious congee with consistency at å¤©å°‡éºµåŒ… (Tseung Kwan O)
I can't believe I have been here so many times for their congee because it is consistently delicious.

There seems to be two flavours: salted egg and sweetcorn with pork or preserved egg with pork.

The first time I tried the salted egg congee and it was so damn delicious because the pork which I normally throw away was pink, fresh and soft with a delicious lightly salted taste.

Needless to say the congee was also tasty.

On the second visit, I was craving for that congee again but they had a different one so I was a bit skeptical as I wasn't sure if it would taste ok as well.
But the preserved egg congee was also good and I liked this one more than the salted egg because it was even more tasty with a preserved egg flavour infused in the congee.

Ever since I have been coming back for the congee.
Recently I tried their ricerolls and they were damn good as well because the texture is chewy with the right softness and they don't pour smelly oil over it.
The ricerolls are nice and taut so they don't unravel themselves when they are drenched in sauce.
