Delicious beef sandwich @ La Rose Noire Bakery

I love the sandwiches here because I can get a proper sandwich that is not Chinese style.
The sauce and the cheese is not Chinese which is great.
The sauce is proper western mustard which is not sweet and the cheese as you can see is not the processd cheese slices.

Anyway the sandwich I had was plain, simple and delicious with cucumber slices, tomatoes, cheese, mustard and thinly sliced roast beef!

All the sandwiches are freshly made that day and you can request for special sandwiches to be made as well.

Refreshing apple cucumber drink @ Yue Mic Ka

As mentioned in my last review I would come back for the cucumber and apple drink.

For some restaurants, the first visit is a bit chaotic, as the menu isnt that clearly laid out, so you order food for the sake of ordering, then after you take away their menu to study, you see things that were better or sets with things that you would of ordered.

Anyway after the first visit, the apple and cucumber tea was one of the things I missed out on their menu, so this time came back for it.

I was very impressed as it was not syrupy or artificial in taste.
The taste of cucumber was more prominent than the apple.

The starter which was white carrot and fish soup was quite good too, the soup was slightly over salty but probably it was meant to be a sauce rather than soup it was over flavoured.

Quality! noodles @ 渝酸辣粉

Came here randomly, and the food turned out to be great.
Allergic to that sort of chili, so picked the shredded chicken with noodles and an ordinary beef one.
For drinks, saw two interesting ones, so got the cucumber Soya milk and the Jasmine tea with bean jelly.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Beef noodles:
Very spicy even though the least spicy was ordered.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Shredded chicken noodles:
The broth was good, no MSG thirstiness after drinking it.
The shredded chicken was tender and pure white meat, no veins or bruises on it and the spring onion and cucumber was chopped finely too.
For the drinks, the cucumber soya milk was a nice soother to the spicy foods, however if it were less sweet it would have tasted more natural.
As for the Jasmine tea, it was also too sweet, that woman said it wasn’t that sweet, she lied!!
But overall that woman was really nice and smiling all the time.
It was nice drinking the Jasmine tea with jelly, the other one was jelly dessert with osthmanthus,, but I don’t really like flowers.
As for the other desserts it was interesting, they had pudding with chilli’s and herbs.
