Ordered their house special: Laksa, and the Bah Kut Teh (original).
Laksa:
The soup was strong with coconut, nicely flavoured, not too rich and not too spicy.
The noodles in the laksa was a mixture of rice vermicelli and "oil noodles".
Anyway there were lots of other standard things on the laksa, such as beancurd, prawns, etc.
Personally I liked the soup, but I disliked the noodles, because they don't really soak up the soup, so quite tasteless.
Bah Kut Teh:
There were many versions offered here which was good, especially for non pork eaters. The soup was flavoured just right, not too strong or salty.
To me there was a strong taste of chinese mushrooms (shiitake).
The ribs that came were a little dry, or maybe cos they have been in the pot for quite some time.

Mee Siam @ Katong
Ordered the Traditional Mee Siam, the Beef Rendang and cold Barley water.
Beef Rendang:
Beef lumps in coconut milk, hmm I didnt really like it, I found it very smelly, a gone off milky smell. The rice was rather overboiled too.
Mee Siam:
OOOOh I really love this dish!! Thin rice vermicelli was used, and it was mixed in some sort of spices, anyway the soup base with really refreshing, and zingy, slighty sour and strong in spicy scent. The prawn, tasted very fresh too, and had orange stuff in its head.
Barley water:
first time drinking cold barley water, not bad! i asked for less sugar, so it seemed ok.

Great chicken @ Pierce chicken
OMG, such a walk to get here, stairs and stairs... going up and up...
On the way, I saw Lemon exchange, I really wanted to eat there too.
I just went in and took a menu, I was given a sample of mango lassi and a potato wedge, anyway will go there next time.
Back to Pierce chicken! Finally reached the destination, too tired and out of breathe, so I walked around Staunton road for a while to get my energy back.
Finally went in and there were so many choices, so I ordered the Wing dings and chicken fries, which were cooked in their Auto fry machine, under strict time settings.
The chicken fries were good, not greasy at all, the wingdings were slightly too crunchy, but tasted ok.
Wanted to try other stuff as well. I like the variety, not just chicken, but nuggets, chicken hoops, fries etc. The additional sauces that you can buy adds to its American settings, you feel like ur in America.
After finishing my chicken, I enquired about their branches, and it was confirmed they have one in Citysuper in TST. Another few branches should be appearing soon, the one is Landmark is almosted confirmed for July.
Another one for either Causeway bay or 360, but this is one of their plans which they hope to open by December this year.

Pomegranite yogurt @ Berrygood
After eating Pierce chicken, I was on my way leaving Central. As I was walking down Graham road, I spotted this white shop, there were people in it eating desserts, so I looked further into the menu, and it was yoghurt.
Anyway I went in and was greeted by an Indian girl. On the menu there was either Original yoghurt or Pomegranite yoghurt, if it had of been another flavour I would have picked original, however Pomegranite is rather special, so I chose that one.
I think the menu layout could be improved, because it just looks like there is only one choice "Original yoghurt pomegranite swirls".
But anyway its quite good they have a different flavour everyday.
For each of the sizes u get a topping, for the small size, you get one topping, and more choices for the larger sizes.
The toppings can be seen at the counter, ranging from fruit, candies (such as jelly babies), healthy stuff such as cornflakes, granola.
Anyway I chose Granola.
Finally sat down, the yoghurt was nice and cooling, slightly icy blended texture. You can taste the pomegranite, yet still taste the yoghurt, and I like the gentle pink colour of the yoghurt. Not too sweet, just right.
So if i have Pierce chicken again, I will come here afterwards.
As for the place it self, nice and white with high ceilings which I havent see before in ages in HK.
They have a website too!

Hotdog Breakfast @ 麵包樹咖啡屋 Bread Tree Express
Just felt like grabbing a hotdog this morning.
So I ordered a regular hotdog that cost me $10, $12 including a drink.
The hotdog tasted quite nice, lots of shredded lettuce and strong mustard.

Millions of choices for hotdogs @ 熱狗の家 Hot Dog Family
I have eaten here so many times now, I love their hotdogs and the different toppings you can get.
I usually have Neuremburg sausage instead of the frankfurter, basically its a thin pork sausage similar to the breakfast one.
The owners are very nice, and if you spend over $40 you get a mini charm, if you collect a certain amount of them, you can exchange for a bear. I think there is an extra helper who is a bit annoying, shes like a commander, rushing people to make decisions and sometimes likes to make them in behalf of others.
I think we all know who...if we've met her!!
Anyway back to the food:
Japanese dog:
Ingredients: Bun, sausage, teriaki sauce, seven taste powder, seaweed shreds, black and white sesame, and japanese mayo.
Taste: Very delicious and rich in sauces, so many flavours in one go.
Italian dog:
Ingredients: Bun, sausage, olive oil, herbs, tomato ketchup, cheese, mustard sauce, garlic.
Taste: Tastes a bit like garlic bread since its toasted with garlic butter, I think it would taste better without the mustard, but not bad.
The final two, I cant remember which is which, the cottage dog and the farmhouse dog.
One had egg and mayonnaise, and the other was salad and avocado.
Both delicious.
There are others I want to try, such as the one with lobster meat, and the curry one, but not available on the weekends.
BUT I WILL BE BACK, to eat and collect more Charms!!

Nasi Pandeng @ Cinta J
There were so many choices, I didnt know what to order, ranging from Philipino, Indonesian to Sing Malay.
So I ordered the Nasi Pandeng, a mixture of Pendang chicken, Rendang beef and rice.
When it came, the rice was in the middle of the plate surrounded by a wide variety of sides and the mains. It contained peanuts and anchovies, coconut flat green beans, tofu, Rendang beef, pendang chicken (drumstick).
The set included a pudding, and drink all for $60.
Everything was great, but I would prefer nicer plates, to get rid of that feeling of eating in a HK style cafe.
