Newly opened Hawley Wharf and market in Camden

Just by the picturesque Regent's canal in Camden, there is a newly opened mall called Hawley Wharf.
At the moment, the confirmed shops that I know will open there are: Bunhouse, Three uncles
Currently, Tsujiri and a few other eateries are ready and serving.

Three Uncles:

Near the entrance, there was a market so had a look.
I love nut spreads and houmous so when I discovered these cashew based spreads by Origin Kitchen I knew I would like them because Cashew is one of my favourite nuts when it comes to non dairy milk Cashew milk.
The reason I like cashew milk is because it is creamy just like regular milk so it makes sense to use it to make indulgent spreads like chocolate and white chocolate.
The chocolate one would absolutely taste amazing on toast.
As for their savoury spreads, they had a starchy texture but you get more flavour because there is a less beany taste to it than chickpeas and soybeans.

There was also a stall for hydroponically grown cress by Sprigs Farm.

Also at the market was Chango Empanadas which is a restaurant change, I got the spicy chicken empanadas which was loaded with moist chicken breast chunks so I enjoyed it.

Lee Kum Kee Sauce for Hot And Spicy Chicken Pot

Lee Kum Kee is a famous household brand in every Chinese family!
Even in the UK we have LKK oyster sauce in our house and you will see LKK advertisements plastered at some tube stations!

As well as oyster sauce, LKK has almost everything under the sun from ready to eat abalones using their Premium oyster sauce to Hot and Spicy chicken pot kits.

I was so honoured to be gifted this hot and spicy chicken pot pack because I love spicy chicken pot.
The instructions are surprisingly easy and everything you need is in the pack so all you need to get is the star of the show which is chicken, optional vegetables and coriander to garnish.
The Lee Kum Kee Sauce for Hot And Spicy Chicken Pot contains 2 pouches of Sauce for Hot and Spicy Chicken Pot, Spices Pack and Extra Spicy Chilli Powder.
The Hot and Spicy chicken sauce is simply fail proof and easy to execute.
Inside the ingredients are clearly labelled in foil pouches which locks in the flavours keeping it fresh and tasty.

Just like the authentic chicken pot, it comes with a spice pack which has a selection of 6 types of special spices including: Dried Chilli Peppers, Star Anise, Fennel, Laurel Leaves, Sichuan Peppers, Cardamom.
For those who like it hotter, there is an Extra Spicy Chilli Powder which can be added according to personal preference for spiciness.

Simply add a chicken and your favourite ingredients to make a rich and delicious chicken pot easily at home!
As well as the spicy chicken pot, I did an abalone spicy chicken pot version using the LKK abalone which is ready to eat braised in their signature premium oyster sauce.

After enjoying the chicken pot, you can pour Lee Kum Kee Soup Base for Chicken Hot Pot into the pot for another way of enjoying it.

Light breakfast at Angel Cafe

I discovered this cafe after getting some cakes at Raabs.
Went there for a quick bite since I didn't have any lunch but as it was a super hot day I only had a sausage, egg and tea.
When it came, the sausage was slit which creates more crispy areas.
Frankly, I haven't seen many sausages slit although I do know some places do that.
Overall, my egg and sausage was delicious with some brown sauce finished with tea.

Light breakfast at Paula's Cafe in Hoxton

Hoxton was such a lovely place until all these hippy cafes moved in.
Time is ticking for Paula's and F Cooke now while several gems have gone like Andersons and Percy Ingles.
I was at Hoxton again for seafood so had a light breakfast which consisted of a poached egg and a sausage.
It took a while to come and I had already finished my tea buy they were really nice to add some hot water.
The egg and sausage was cooked to perfection.
To summarize, definitely visit Paula's.

The Fish and Chicken Shop

Spotted this joint while I was changing to the DLR and spotted this deal for 2.00 deal for 4 wings and chips.
As a wings and chippy chip fan I had to return and try it.
It is a 40 seater restaurant but sadly they are not doing dine ins at the moment so I had to eat nearby because I love drowning my chips with vinegar.
As much as I like the fries that are usually served in chicken shops, chippy chips are more to my liking and here you can have them with wings as they specialize in fish and chips.
The chips were amazing, even those they had been fried for sometime but kept in the heated cabinet they were still delicious as they were good quality chips meaning they can still taste good after sitting there for a while.
For the wings I was given one drumette and three flats, normally I like the drumettes but in this occasion the flats were really tasty and coated in a spicy coating.
Definitely coming back for more and I liked the portion size and price because it meant I could sample their chips and wings.

A visit to Wimpy's at Watney Market

A must visit if you are in the area.

I finally fulfilled my New Years resolution to go to Wimpy's!!
It was a real struggle choosing between the Watney branch or the Greenwich branch.
Greenwich is probably the best option but Watney was more convenient to travel to which is hidden amongst a market.
The vibes at this branch was so different to Greenwich because one of the staff was so keen for me to order or perhaps he has a compulsive disorder.
Luckily I knew what I wanted so ordered the classic hamburger.
It was loaded with Wimpy ketchup which is really different and memorable because the taste is really punchy with a balanced sweet and tangy tone.
The onions were also the star of the show because I love the way they are coarsely chopped and you can really taste and feel the texture which compliments the beef patty.
Overall, the burger was really tasty and the lettuce worked well as I don't normally like lettuce.
It seems that it was a different lettuce used and not iceberg because it looked rather curly.
