Rainbow sandwiches @ Epoch

After seeing some pics of the rainbow sandwiches, I specifically came here to try em.

They looked so cute, and tasted good too, bascially they are pieces of cake cut into sandwiches filled with cream.

My favourite colour was the red one, as raspberry tasted the best, next was the chocolate one, but the filling was very heavy, just like the chocolate they use in their cakes. Then the rest i ate were orange, yellow (lemon), green (green tea), and pink (rose).

However I wished the pink one could have been grapefruit, as I am not a fan of rose.
Will come here again to try their other cakes.

A hidden secret @ Antique Patisserie

I have walked past this cafe many times, but I have never been in before, because it just looks like a tiny shop from the outside selling cakes.

Since I was bored that day, I wandered in, and saw the sit in area, so I ordered the Raspberry pistache and breakfast tea. The interior of the shop was cosy and victorian, like a big dolls house, with wallpaper and white skirting boards.

The tables and chairs were also victorian, and the tea cups and pot, very English in style.

Anyway the cake tasted lovely, tangy raspberry complimented with nutty sweet pistachio mousse. Garnished with a macaroon, which also tasted sweet, and chewy with bits of nuts in it. The perfect cake was rounded off with a nice cuppa!

Buffulo wings and Grilled chicken @ Freshness Burger

I chose the new snacks at Freshness burger, Buffulo wings, Grilled chicken, Caramel pudding and green tea pudding with Raspberry.

The buffulo wings were crunchy and strong in tomato salsa sauce, the grilled chicken was very nice and tender, slightly sweet due to the teriyaki sauce.
Although the desserts were made by epoch, I liked them the best, creamy pudding with sauce.

Tic Tac Yummy! @ Pacific Coffee

I like the way Pacific coffee have marketed their new dessert range.

They have made it in a game of tic-tac-toe, and when you eat the specified cakes in a line or a row, you can get free coffee.

So far I have only tried the raspberry dome, bundt, banana trifle, and chocolate ganache.

Raspberry dome This was the best, raspberry mousse with passionfruit jelly inside, however I didnt like the base, a bit too hard.
Bundt: rather tiny and cheaper compared to the cakes in its range.
Tastes like a normal fairy cake but with icing, there are several icing flavours: chocolate, lemon, orange and strawberry.
Banana trifle: rather disappointing, there was no sponge or jelly, it was just fake cream with biscuit base again!
Chocolate ganache: also disappointing too, the chocolate sponge was hard.
