Mochi filled pandan cookies at Mr.W bakery

I was in the area for lunch and spotted these pandan cookies at Mr.W so as a pandan fan how could I resist in not trying one.
As well as pandan cookies, there were other flavours like chocolate chip, marshmallow, matcha etc.
Some were plain cookies and some were filled with mochi.
The pandan cookie I got was filled with mochi so it was a bonus in terms of mouthful.
The pandan and coconut flavour was really pleasing but the texture of the cookie is so different to the chewy soft baked ones which I was expecting like Mrs fields.
The texture of these cookies are crumbly and crunchy with a soft gooey mochi in the middle.
Overall worth trying.

Ham, egg and chips at Cafe Maya, Farringdon

Paid a visit to Cafe Maya as it was a cafe that I haven't tried yet.
They serve the usual breakfast and caff stuff so I had the ham, egg ad chips as I wanted to compare to my favourite place.
The ham was the meaty type and the egg had a crispy base.
Overall, it was ok, just another cafe ticked off.

Chips from Kennedy's Tooting

Thank you for the chips.
I must have chips printed all over my face because I do love chips.
Definitely to my liking, even late at night, they were uniformly golden.
This has been on my to go list in Tooting.
A unique fish and chip bar that serves a good range pies as well

Seventeen Fish Bar, Balham

Another chippy.
Crispy style chips served here.

McDonald's Easter Menu (UK 2024)

Easter is here again, McDonalds GB have some new items this 2024:
Hot Cross Bun Latte
Hot Cross Bun Pie
Galaxy Truffle Bunny McFlurry
Returning Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry

Hot Cross bun pie: expect the same filling as the mcdonalds Christmas mince pie filling with the same custard in their other pies launched before in a tasty cinnamon pastry.
The galaxy Bunny mcflurry, again same galaxy chocolate sauce with chocolate bunny heads.
The hot cross bun latte was nice with cinnamon whipped cream and dusting.

Greggs Scotch Pie exclusive in Edinburgh

Greggs Bakeries are everywhere but you will find exclusives items down South, up North etc.
In Edinburgh, they have Bloomers, Scotch Pie, Empire Biscuit, Fruit Scone, French Fancy, Pineapple Cake, Devon Doughnut, Jumbo Choc Ring Doughnut, Vanilla Doughnut and Apple Danish.
I only managed to spot the Scotch pie and the Devon doughnut which is a ring doughnut with cream.
The Scotch pie is basically a meat pie made of beef and mutton in a crumbly thin shortbread pastry with smooth minced meat in the middle.
Overall, nice and some vinegar would make it taste even better.
