I found the Taiwanese pineapple cake and Guyanese pinetart quite similar.
The pinetart is a must try because it was so delicious and not too sweet.
I love the folded pastry which was filled with pineapple jam that was not too sweet.
It would also taste great with some clotted cream or ice cream.
This was my first and best ever pine tart.
Will be returning to try the red salara coconut roll, cheese roll and patties.
It is interesting that they also do Guyanese black pudding.
A week later, I returned to try other goodies like the cheese roll, patty, coconut cake, sponge cake the salara which were all impressive.
The patty is similar to the Cornish Pasty with a shortcrust pastry filled with quality minced beef and peas so it was tasty.
The cheese roll again was similar but it was spicy.
