Interesting eateries at Chatworth Road

Discovered these eateries while I was at Chatsworth market.
Men Noodles or also known as Men Hackney is a Japanese place that makes their own udon, ramen and soba which they hang by the window.
The decor is simplistic white tiles with noodles served in metal bowls.
I don't quite get why the metal bowls because metal is a super conductor which will cool the broth quickly.
The menu looked like skin foundation swatches.

Jim's Cafe was interesting because of the tiling especially the floor tiling which is a popular tiling used in Hong Kong.

The new look of Central Market

Here we have the new look of the Central Market.
Urban Renewal Authority (URA) and Chinachem Group claim to have captured and preserved many of its historical elements and integrated these into the open plan floor design. They adopted a “boundaryless spatial concept” to provide over 100 leasable units for retail and F&B, 1,000 square metres of green open space, and community spaces for a variety of art exhibitions, performances, and cultural activities, transforming the Central Market into a “Playground for All”.
Phase one has achieve a take-up rate of over 80% , drawing over 70 commercial tenants, with operations ranging from street foods to specialty restaurants, local brands and cultural craft boutiques, and lifestyle grocery stores.
Most phase one shops begin operating today. Additionally, 13 of the original market stall activities of unique historical value have been preserved and will return in new ways to continue their legacies, making Central Market a window into living history.
To summarize, it just feels like another pmq and it is happening everywhere not just in Asia.

Love at First Bite mooncakes from Royal Hotels Hong Kong

Creativity and fun flavours always come to mind from the Royal Hotels Hong Kong group.

This year, there is 【Love at First Bite】.
I love the modern twist transformation from the classic mixed nut mooncake to a sweet Mini Caramel Pecan Mooncake.
For Hong Kong style toast lovers you have the Mini Peanut Butter & Raspberry Mooncake.
The peanut butter raspberry was my favourite because it had this American Peanut butter jelly resemblance to it.

[Review] Beigel Shop at Brick Lane (Yellow one)

Salt beef bagels are a famous and an affordable treat at Brick Lane.
There are two right next to each other which I both go to.
On this visit, I went to the Beigel shop for a salt beef bagel (Yellow one).
The salt beef bagel was consistently good as before with meaty beef in the middle balanced by the mustard and a hint of butter.
The chunks of beef were tender and not over salty as you would expect with salt beef.
It was so soft and tender that it shredded nicely.
Compared to the other shop, the bagels are buttered so you get this tasty buttery mustard.
M&S have nailed the plant salt beef bagel because the texture and flavour was just like this so if you are on a plant based diet then definitely get the M&S one.

Most affordable Chinese in London from Wings Chinese Cafe, Chrisp Street Market

Chrisp Street market is such an amazing place for foodies, not only it is a haven for food but everything is so affordable.
I have been eating my way through every stall and this time I tried Wings Chinese Cafe.
Looking at the menu, most items are priced at 5.50 or less so I decided to try the plain chowmein in a large box which comes with beanshoots for 3.20.
It was as good as I expected because I spotted the Lion brand noodles which are my favourite especially the thin noodles.
The noodles were so tasty and light on the MSG and oilyness just like Stephens Take Away in Eastbourne.
Usually I am not fond of beanshoots but they were all in harmony with the onions.
Definitely coming back again to try their specials as well.
