Salt beef bagels are a famous and an affordable treat at Brick Lane.
There are two right next to each other which I both go to.
On this visit, I went to the Beigel shop for a salt beef bagel (Yellow one).
The salt beef bagel was consistently good as before with meaty beef in the middle balanced by the mustard and a hint of butter.

The chunks of beef were tender and not over salty as you would expect with salt beef.
It was so soft and tender that it shredded nicely.
Compared to the other shop, the bagels are buttered so you get this tasty buttery mustard.
M&S have nailed the plant salt beef bagel because the texture and flavour was just like this so if you are on a plant based diet then definitely get the M&S one.
Beigel Shop was recently closed and has now reopened.
Revisited for a salt beef beigel of course but also tried the salt beef pie to see what it was like.
I was expecting minced/chopped salted beef inside but you actually get chunks like the ones in the bagel bagel.
Overall it was nice but lacked some mustard inside and it would be nice if the beef was diced to made so that the filling is even.
