Caramel sea salt yoppucino @ SillyBoo Frozen Yogurt

I was not intending to try their froyo but they had the yoppucino, which was cappuccino with caramel froyo on top.
I was surprised to see they did a crossover with 酵母兵團 , as well as 酵母兵團’s yoppucino, they also had other drinks under the 酵母兵團 brand such as the green tea.
The concept was good but the sea salt was not sprinkled evenly so part of it was salty and I would have preferred natrual froyo instead of caramel.
The price of the yoppucino cost more at silly boo for $32, it only costs $26 at 酵母兵團.

Goodbye for now and see you at Cyberport

Found out from Spicygal's review that they are going to move to Cyberport so I just had to get their yogurt again.
However found out that they do pizza's as well so I hope to come again and try the pizzas before they move.

Cyberport is really far away so I hope they open another branch, but I think Cyberport would be a good location for them because their vibrant themes and designs would match those settings.

I love their froyos but last time I could only try two flavours so I did not try the original.

This time I ordered the Original Tart and I wished they had Taro too because that was my favourite as well.
The Original Tart had a really nice natrual yogurt taste and for the toppings I chose Honey Mochi which was so lovely and soft and not too sweet.

It was the softest mochi topping I have tried and it was cut to reasonably big size pieces.
I am also really gutted I havent their other wacky froyo flavours such as:
Chocolate mint toothpaste, hazelnut chocolate, pistachio and greet tea!

Anyway, I hope to try their pizza soon before they move because they are all VEGETARIAN!! and I was surprised by the vegetarian beef and chicken ingredients, If I do make it before they move I hope I can try some other froyo flavours too.

Lemon and French Vanilla froyo @ Yoppi

Most froyos tastes the same these days and alot of new Froyo places are closing and opening fast.
I only try them these days if they have unique toppings or unique froyo flavours or a unique taste.

Anyway, Yoppi has stores internationally from Thailand to USA.

The froyo that I came for was the Lemon and because it was self service I chose French Vanilla as well.
For toppings, I just chose jelly, mochi and strawberries.
I tried the Lemon froyo first because if I had the sweet vanilla first then it would make the Lemon taste extremely sour.

The lemon was really nice and strong, it was citrusy and tasted nice as a froyo.
As for the French vanilla it was sweet as expected and it was nice with the chewy mochi and fruits complimenting it.

Pomegranite yogurt @ Berrygood

After eating Pierce chicken, I was on my way leaving Central. As I was walking down Graham road, I spotted this white shop, there were people in it eating desserts, so I looked further into the menu, and it was yoghurt.

Anyway I went in and was greeted by an Indian girl. On the menu there was either Original yoghurt or Pomegranite yoghurt, if it had of been another flavour I would have picked original, however Pomegranite is rather special, so I chose that one.
I think the menu layout could be improved, because it just looks like there is only one choice "Original yoghurt pomegranite swirls".
But anyway its quite good they have a different flavour everyday.

For each of the sizes u get a topping, for the small size, you get one topping, and more choices for the larger sizes.
The toppings can be seen at the counter, ranging from fruit, candies (such as jelly babies), healthy stuff such as cornflakes, granola.
Anyway I chose Granola.

Finally sat down, the yoghurt was nice and cooling, slightly icy blended texture. You can taste the pomegranite, yet still taste the yoghurt, and I like the gentle pink colour of the yoghurt. Not too sweet, just right.
So if i have Pierce chicken again, I will come here afterwards.

As for the place it self, nice and white with high ceilings which I havent see before in ages in HK.

They have a website too!

Earl grey froyo @ Berrygood

So cool everytime I come here, there is a surprise, rare flavours, this time Earl Grey, a tea flavour, a western version of Japanese green tea, except Earl grey has a better flavour.

Anyway looking forward to another flavour next time, something out of my mind.

original and green tea @ Yo Mama

Basically the same as Berrygood, except that they specialise in two flavours,
original and green tea. Topping wise, there is more choice on the candy side, ie coco puffs, rainbow cornflakes etc.

For the price, the portion is bigger here, or rather the cup is bigger.
Service wise, Berrygood has more heart to it.

Yogurt ice-cream @ Appollo

My favourite item here is the yoghurt with fresh fruit, but I wanted to get the free Mars bar so I ended up buying 3 cups of sundaes.

ACTUALLY I BELIEVE IT CAN BE BOUGHT SEPARATELY because on the flyer it said $11.8 if you buy it on its own, but since the woman there firmly said you cant buy it on its own, I got other stuff too.

Anyway the sundae, was just three layers of ice-cream, vanilla, strawberry then chocolate, the strawberry tasted fake, and the other two layers were ok.

The Mars bar is not a product by Apollo, but imported, it tasted of sweet ice-cream with caramel.

yoghurtcool @ misocool

Previously tried their Quarry bay branch, went all the way there to dine, and then a few days later they opened a branch in Central! Ahh I didnt need to go all the way there to quarry bay, and that branch is no where near the mtr.

Recently was at K11 to check out how artistic it was, but not that artistic.

Saw the separate yoghurt section at misocool, so tried it.

As expected it tasted like the soft yoghurt at Berrygood and Yo mama, however the choice of topping were less, from my memory there were 10 choices, but I can only remember the following, toasted coconut, diced strawberries, mango, chocolate crunch balls, and crispy star crunchies.

The yoghurt is slightly sour, so chose toasted coconut to sweeten it. However it is not the proper frozen yoghurt like the Apollo fruit yoghurts.
The portion of yoghurt could have been more, the center was a hollow hole (as shown on picture).

Good froyo @ Yogo Frozen yogurt

On my way here, I walked the wrong direction of Leighton Road, I thought it would be on the city side of along with Suzuki café etc. When I realised it, I walked all the way back and found it.

If you’ve had singing lessons with Star Plus’ HARRY WONG, this place is just down stairs from it.

This place reminds me of play school, colourful tables and chairs, especially the kids table at the centre. There is a bench on the side for people to sit and mingle too, this place is filled with youthful vibes, a good little joint for ABC’s and BBC’s to hang out.
The staff there are probably ABC/BBC's.

There was a guy there in a suit, whom I thought was a patron, it turns out he is probably the owner as he started serving customers.

Anyway, I opted for all the flavours except mango in the same cup, and had the following toppings, blueberries, caramel chips and green raisins (rare in hk).
Apart from Berrygood, this is also another place that has variety, especially the toppings.
At Berrygood, the flavour variety is good such as Earl grey, pomelo, pomegranite.

The price of the yoghurt is on price per weight basis, a bit different from other places where it is charged per size. As it is weighed, they come up to the odd cents, it gives you a chance to get rid of those copper cents. If you don't have any cents, when you get your change with the odd cents, there is a tips box for you to put your unwanted change there.

When I was there, there was this famous make-up artist called Gary Chung, since the bench was communal, they have to sit on that bench too.

Yogurtime @ wan chai

I was fascinated by Yogurtime, because of their endless choices of yoghurt flavours.
(see yogurtimehk.com)

Currently the two with quite a lot of flavours are Berrygood and Yogo.
Berrygood has pomegranate and earl grey, whilst Yogo has lychee, banana, and the sultana toppings which are unique to them.

The Wan Chai location couldn’t have opened in a better location, it is conveniently located alongside Pizza Express and Shake em Buns.

The topping are the usual, but there was Chalwa, which seems exclusive to this place.
Its appearance is like rough strands made from sesame and pulled sugar, an Israeli delight.
I was disappointed because there were no raspberries as toppings, a big no no in marketing, when you have product pictures of products that do not exist.

The day I visited, there was Taro, chocolate, vanilla and Eurotart.

Eurotart is their signature yogurt. I was very impressed with it, as with all froyo they should have some slight tartness to it, however the taste of Eurotart is close to natural yoghurt but in froyo form.
It went well with the sweetness of the Chalwa strands.

I also had Taro froyo too, something which I havent seen for froyo flavour. It was rather interesting bringing an asian touch to it.
The taro flavour was subtle, and you could still taste slight froyo too, overall I liked the Taro as well.

Yogurtime and Berrygood both tweet, however Yogurtime tweets do not seem to be as up to date as Berrygood.

Interesting flavours and its name: Angel Food Cake, Apple cheesecake, apricot, bing cherry, Black cherry, blue raspberry, bubble gum, butter brickle, caramel custard, cherry chocolate, chocolate coconut, chocolate marshmallow, chocolate mousse, cinnamon apple pie, coconut cream pie, dragons blood, egg nog, elvis special, english toffee, georgia peach, harvest apple, irish cream, island coconut, Kahla, lemon mist, macaroon over miami, maple walnut, marshmallow, mountain ripe strawberry, orange chocolate, peaches and cream, pink lemonade, pink guava, polynesian punch, pistachio, pumpkin pie, tangerine, white chocolate, white chocolate mousse, and the whole complete list, see their website!!!
