Pistachio doughnut from St Johns Bakery

I have been on a doughnut crawl recently trying to try every doughnut that I see.

Clearly some are overpriced and not worth the hype and some are well worth paying.

This time I tried the pistachio filled doughnut from St John bakery who are doughnut specialists according to their signage.

The pistachio doughnut with a pricetag of 3.50 did not disappoint.

Although the filling was so runny that it went everywhere, the pistachio was rich and aromatic while the quality of the doughnut itself was fantastic.

I felt that the pistachio doughnut fared much better than bread ahead which lacked any pistachio flavour at all.

Will definitely be coming back for their plain doughnut to see how it fares.
