Brazilian Cheesy Pastel de queijo from Eli’s Deli & Pastelaria
Size matters, so when I saw this huge Brazilian Pastel I had to get it.There were various fillings: beef, chicken and cheese so I chose cheese.
Pastel is basically a fried parcel with filling!
The ones at Eli's Deli looked really uniform as it was a perfect rectangle with straight edges.
Overall, my cheese pastry was really nice and the cheese had a salty kick to it but not on the cheesy side with a mozzarella cheese pull texture.
Definitely recommended.
As well as pastels, they have cooked food where you can get what you want and priced by weight.
