Just from the name Basil bakery, one would have thought it was going to be Italian but it turns out to be Syrian.
I ordered the hummus chicken sharwarma which came with bread and pickles.
To my surprise, it was only £5.
The hummus was really silky and velvety like cream drizzled with some sort of sauce.
I found the chicken a bit dry so I should have just had the plain houmous.
Overall, the food was amazing.
At the time of dining, this place was called BASIL but the name has now changed to Basil and Broasted.
