I was not sure what to expect when I went into this shop, all I knew was that it was newly opened.
From the menu It seems they specialise in Curry and beef.
They serve noodles and curry so it should suit the tastes of any locals if they eat Chinese food.
After looking at the menu, I found it quite weird such as having wontons in tomato soup, wontons with liver, rose flavoured pork knuckles!

Interesting and strange menu items:
Black and white pepper ox tail with rice
Red beancurd and rose pork knuckles
Seaweed and beef bone soup
Dried prawn roe and liver with noodles

Liver and wontons in tomato soup with flat rice noodles:
I ended up picking the wontons in tomato soup with liver but I wanted to pick the noodles with dried prawn roe with liver as well.
The only bad point is that they do not have many choices for the noodle types ie instant noodles nor do they let you change the noodles.
Anyway, I generally do not like flat rice noodles because they are oily and tasteless, however the tomato soup made it more appetizing and I ate more than I usually do.
The liver would have tasted great, but since I have tried the liver at Wai Kee's in SSP, any other liver tastes inferior to that.
However there were a few pieces that tasted nice, the others were over cooked.
The wontons really surprised me because I thought it would taste weird because of the tomato soup and liver but I think they were cooked separately and placed in the bowl when it was served.
I ate the wonton first because it had the lightest taste and I did not want any tomato taste in it, the prawns in the wonton were really fresh and springy too.
If you like spring onions they put spring onions on almost everything.

Hot ginger and barley drink:
This was really nice, the ginger was not that spicy and the drink was not overly sweet.
There were lots of clean barley seeds and chopped ginger in the drink too!
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Stir fried macaroni with luncheon meat:
This was delicious, not many places serve stir fried macaroni so when it is available I always order it.
The oil they used was fresh, so on the surface of the macaroni there was soy sauce burnt on the surface which made it really tasty. There was also onions but it wasnt chopped fine enough.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Curry Beef Belly:
The curry here is quite watery with lots of onions but it tastes nice, however it was too salty.
The beef was surprisingly soft and tender.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Tried this a different day.
Pork liver with noodles sprinkled with prawn roe:
It was noodles sprinkled with prawn roe and you get a bowl of liver soup which is nice.
The noodles did not have pork lard on it which was good and it was nice to get liver soup rather than MSG soup.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Good electric fly zappers that work and sticky tape fly trappers:
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
Overall I quite liked this place because there was lots of interesting choices, however they are in their teething stages.
The ordering system can be improved.
Currently they write the orders on a piece of paper which is then entered on the system, so if the person misreads the writing on the paper the Chef gets the wrong order.
