Affordable Japanese food with fun at Beppu Ekimae

To be honest I was here for the gimmick, it was the pudding on dry ice.
There were new items so tried them as well.

The White Chili Jigoku Ramen seems interesting.

Golden princess:
This was white peach juice, passionfruit juice and soda topped with boba filled with honey.

The drink was refreshing and it did not have an artificial taste.

Mango and Shrimp Tempura with Flying Fish Roe Roll:

This was nice and summery with crispy shrimp tempura complemented by the sweet mango slice.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆
Okiyama chicken jokogy ramen:

The noodles were a bit too soft and the soup was a bit bland.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆
burli:

The burli was fresh and thickly sliced.
★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆
Bite sized fish cake topped with lobster mayo:

The cubes of fish cakes were chewy and sweet topped with creamy lobster mayo.

Hokkaido 3.6 milk jigkoyu hot spring pudding:

This was the moment I was waiting for!

Basically there was dry ice in the bucket which gave off this pretty cloud of smoke.
The pudding itself was silky and not too sweet with a strong white chocolate taste.
