Discovered this joint randomly on foodpanda and the menu is exactly the same as Haveli.
When I got there, I recognized the guy from Haveli.
The restaurant was small and cozy.
The guy was really helpful when I was ordering because he advised which naan would go best with the curries.
Here was what I had:
+++++++++++
Chicken 65:
Deep fried boneless chicken pieces marinated with ginger, garlic paste, red chilli powder, lemon juice, yoghurt, curry leaves and Indian spices.
The pieces of fried chicken were really good because it was pieces of leg meat and there were so many flavours going on but it was a bit too salty.
+++++++++++
Lamb Bombay curry:
The bombay curry had a sweet taste to begin with and gradually the spiciness came through.
+++++++++++
Calamari Curry:
fresh Calamari Fish cooked with onion, garlic, ginger paste in home made tomato puree, coconut grated, curry leaves & Indian spices.
I found calamari curry quite sweet and aromatic.
+++++++++++
Chicken Masala:
The masala was very strong and it went nicely with the naan bread.
+++++++++++
Steamed Rice:
Indian steamed basmati rice that was fluffy and fragrant.
+++++++++++
Naan:
Soft and warm naan.
+++++++++++
