Blueberry puffs @ Pak See Kut Cake shop

Saw this weird long shaped thing walking past, so decided to take a closer look at it.

It appears to be a "cow tongue puff" (ngau lei so) according to its chinese name.
However it is different to the other ones, the conventional ones are just fried dough, but this one is made of puff pastry and flatter.

The ridges make it appear like fried dough but infact it is a line of jam.

The surface was covered in sugar, so it just tasted like flat puff pastry with sugar, the blueberry was faint to the extent it was non existent.
The colour was peachy pink.
